I may have been a victim of the marketing here. I think I was too excited about this movie, and I was not expecting the twist at the end. So I felt kind of let down, completely unlike my nephew who would watch this movie three times a day. I like Lego movies and kids movies in general, so I think that I was just thrown by the twist. I also - as a general rule - do not like the main antagonist in the twist, so that may influence my perception that it could have been executed better.

Picked this movie up very late. I'm disappointed in myself that I did not go to the theaters and see it or purchase it sooner. I've had to hear through the grapevine how amazing it is, and than pick it up for myself when I had the chance. Looks amazing with 4k upscale, and of course- has a very good storyline.

I waited until the Blu-Ray release to finally watch this movie with the family, and boy was it worth it! Great creativity with the story line, a wonderful sense of humor for kids and adults alike - this was very well done!!! A few of the themes and scenes were a little raunchy for our toddlers, but overall it was great!

Everything is awesome! Really! Watch the movie, then watch some of "the making of" features and then watch it again and pay attention to the whole picture. You really get a appreciation of how much went into this movie! Yes, it is computer animated but you could almost swear that the movie was done with real Lego parts.

Bought this because I loved the movie when I saw it in the theater. The bluray has some great features and the movie is fantastic. Also having the UV copy included is great. If you played with Lego as a child (or adult) or have children that play with Lego I recommend you pick this up. I doubt you will regret it at all.

This movie is a must see for kids, adults, and anyone who ever enjoyed Legos. The plot is outstanding, the cinematography is amazing, and there is a full spectrum of emotions. I didn't see this movie in the theater but heard really good reviews and after watching it a few times already, it has exceeded my expectations!

I really didn't have much interest in watching this but my grand kids made me. I really enjoyed it. It reminded me of watching those old Bugs Bunny cartoons where you really didn't get all the jokes until you saw them again as a grown up. In fact I re-watched it without the kids and still liked it. It's a great movie.

We saw the movie in the theater with our 6 year old and it was one of the few that we liked as much as he did. This product is great, as it offers the blu-ray and the DVD, so we can watch on either system in our house. It also offers the digital version, so we can have the movie on a laptop for those long car rides.

I wasn't real excited about seeing this, but it was really pretty cute. I've been tempted to use the krackle many times after spending hours building only to have something knocked over & fall apart, so Ihat was funny. I wouldn't suggest listening to the soundtrack on your way to work, as it can be difficult to get that "Everything is Awesome!" out of your head! It might put YOU in an upbeat mood, but tends to drive your co-workers crazy if you sing or hum it all day!!

This is a family friendly film about a boy named Emmet on a dangerous quest with his friends to save the master builders. My 8 year old daughter thought it was great. She has watched it several times. My husband and I thought it was good. The best part for us was identifying Lego characters who made quick cameos.

It's a great movie for the whole family; even the youngest viewers. There are even some great, unexpected extras. If you have limited/ metered download ability the added Ultraviolet Digital Copy is kind of a wasted purchase. I would rather have the Digital Copy disc. But, overall it's a great deal for the price.

I hope you read my title in song form. Lego Movie was probably the best movie of 2014. It had action, comedy, drama, adventure,and romance. Normally when a movie has that much going on there tends to be drop off point in terms of quality. But the Lego movie proved you only need really can have it all.

We went and saw this movie in the theater and were waiting to pick it up on BluRay. While in the store browsing the kids asked to buy this and I happily said yes. Excellent movie that everyone in the family loves. The DVD lets the kids watch it in their room while the adults watch other things on the main tv.

I have two boys that have watched it over and over since we got it. they seem to never tire of it. One of the best things for me was I ordered it through best buys online web sight, I received it the same day as it came out! My kids were happy and most of all I was happy I didn't have to wait in line at a store.

I'd be surprised if anyone saw this coming. The Lego Movie is quite simply unlike anything seen in a long while: rip-roaringly hilarious, gorgeous to look at, imaginative beyond belief, a great parody of worn out "chose one" clichés and also rather poignant and touching.

The story was fun for both adults and children. Some of the humor would go over kids heads but make the adults laugh. Lego's have been around for a long time so all ages can enjoy the images and building lots of things. It is a great film to watch with your family because there is humor and laughs for everyone!

Having grown up with Lego's in the '60's I couldn't wait to own a copy of this movie for myself. The movie takes all the fun of lego's and adds a wide variety of characters from various movies all in a delightful mix. Despite the fact that lego's are for kids, this movie is best suited to older teens and above who can actually understand the plot and various jokes that will be largely lost on young children. It's too bad we'll have to wait until 2016 for a sequel.

Loved this movie! The song, albeit a little annoying at times, is very catchy. I find that I can just hum a few notes and can get others to join in. Loved the characters and the jokes were relatable to all ages. Movie was hilarious to watch and kids will find it relatable as well as engaging. Highly recommend

I will sum it up very briefly. EVERYTHING IS AWESOME! All parents, grandparents, adults should watch this movie! The moral is to once again view the world through the eyes of a child and in this case, it was a wonderful viewpoint to revisit. Thank you for a fresh retake/review of life!
