I saw this in theaters and just didn't care for it because of the fact it's a carbon copy of the original. I tried giving this another chance but I just can't warm up to this.

Animated version is much better. This one is depressing. Faces of the lions are mad. They did a great job in visual though but overall is just not very exciting.

I bought for my son. He likes this movie and often watches this movie. Due to that I bought the DVD but quality of DVD print is very bad.

As much as Disney loves doing their remakes. This has definitely have to be my least favorite of the remakes

Remakes are never as good as the original. They should have passed an remaking this movie.

Not a very entertaining movie at all. The animals look real to a fault, not as fun as the original

I tried playing this disc 4K Ultra on my Sony 4K Ultra player and it did not work

It really is an impressive technical achievement to produce a seemingly live-action version of the Lion King, and the digital version for your home theater is technically up to the task. But the best live-action version of the Lion King is the Broadway play. Artistically, rending the animals as seemingly real animals singing is not an improvement over the original animated version. Completionists may want this, but everyone else should seek out either the original or the Broadway musical.

loved the movie although i viewed it with my kids on tv now i view it with my grandson and we both love it he is always watching it says it's his favorite movie

The Lion King is an Awesome classic and its fun to watch it with friends and family

The Lion King 'live action' version looks fantastic on 4K. Really reference quality. The Best Buy Steelbook edition is well done (assuming you buy in store and check for any dents--I don't think those cases are actually made of steel).

Disney did a great job with this live action version of this movie. Most of the voices are the original ones from the animated classic too. Package does include a digital copy code too.

The greatest scene is when Simba and Nala fall in love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

scar and mufasa had a tragic love story. They sacrificed for eachother and scar lived on without the love of his life. At the end of it scars boyfriends son killed him what a betrayal im so sad i didnt see scar making out with a ghost or calling people sister and getting his nails done. This is disrespect to LGBTQ+ 1 star
