My son loves the movie. This is closer to the original than Aladdin. I personally wish they would have stayed more true to the original though, especially on a couple of the "classic" parts involving Pumbaa.

I was worried going into this that there was no way it could compare to the original. It really doesn't try. There are things that are the same and things that are it's own. My kids loved it and so did I.

I loved the original movie as a kid. I thought going in the live action wouldn't be able to live up to the expectations but I was completely wrong. This was a great pickup love the artwork on this steelbook.

Felt very nostalgic wastching this I grew up watching the animated version and this was spot on. Kept singing along the songs with it. I recommend to any disney fan at least Lion kikg fan to give this a try.

This Lion King is just as good as the animated movie! My family and I all enjoyed watching this, Disney added a few differences to this one from the animated film, but all in all was happy with this film!

Totally worth checking out!! I grew up watching the original animated version of The Lion King (LOVED IT!). This version turned out pretty well! Definitely worth seeing if you’re a fan of the original!!

This movie is enjoyable for the whole family. It was well done in connection with the original animated version. If you are looking for a good family film to watch, this is one everyone can agree on.

Though people who have seen the original Lion King movie who want a new story line may be a bit disappointed, but the graphics and the way this version of the movie is told is amazing. Well worth it.

This live-action (CGI) Lion King movie looks awesome on my 4K TV. Loved the original years ago with my little kids and now with them as we're older. For all the variations you get, the price was great.

I love this movie. It was a great tribute to the original anime movie which is my favorite Disney anime movie of all time! It’s beautiful in 4K! Great movie! Well worth it and I like the steel case too!

I must admit I was not blown away by this remake as much as my family was. It was watching the 1984 classic with live action. I do not know why I expected it to be different but I did. Disney did acquire a fantastic voice ensemble for the movie. It is a very dark, it is a very good remake that is family friendly.

I seen this in the theater also. And I enjoyed it so much, that I had to Buy it for my little grandchildren! Especially my granddaughter, Zella Rose. She LOVES Lion King, and had Never seen the Movie.

Although I don't really like remakes, I wanted to see this but wanted since I have Grandkids that have access to my digital library, I waited till it came out on bluray! I love all the Disney movies!

I love the Limited Edition Steelbook for the new Disney The Lion King! The movie is excellent! Perfect for the whole family! I highly recommend this purchase! It would make a great Christmas gift!

I’ve been a fan for years of Disney film and this remake was excellent. Though I think I still like the animated version better, this was still a fantastic movie for any age group. Very recommended!!

It’s a good movie and good take on the classic, but let’s face it. There’s no remarking the classic unless it has the original cast. No Jeremy irons as scar no bueno. And to top it off rafiki didn’t have that ninja butt kicking scene. So all in all a good watch to kill some time but not as good as the original.

You can’t compare the animated story to the graphic realistic version. The story line remains trustful to the original. Loved the new song added to the scene where Simba returns to the pride land.

Beautiful looking movie, can't even tell if the animals are animated or just used effects for talking. Also it's one of the few movies not on Disney+ (for now) Happy with my Black Friday purchase

I saw it at the theater movie with O.C. in last 3 months ago; so BEAUTIFUL the film was WORTHY as very neat a steelbook. I received it the delivery today by this day of date released. I LOVE IT!!!

The original can’t be beat, but this is pretty good for kids to watch, they’ll like the live action version. Donald Glover is great as Simba, and having James Earl Jones back as Mustafa is perfect!
