Haven't yet had time to view the movie... hence, I can't honestly provide a critical review as of yet...

I enjoyed this movie. Pretty amazing how far CGI has come. Everything in the movie looks very realistic.

First, in terms of visual and audio quality on the 4K disc - excellent. If you are buying this just for the video quality/audio - that’s fine. However, I find this to be the inferior version of Lion King. A. The music is not as good as the original and songs like “Be Prepared” are laughably bad. B. The lack of emotions being displayed by the lions and other creatures makes me care a heck of a lot less about these creatures. The old animated version made the lions anthropomorphic whereas the new version just makes them look like regular lions, so I feel less engaged. C. If they had redone the movie instead of making it essentially the exact same thing, it might have been more acceptable. But trying to squeeze the brilliance of the originally into a new package did not work out overall.

A pretty decent remake, but not as good as the original. Still had some problems with it, but enjoyable.

My son can't stop watching this movie. He is in the process of setting up a watch party for his friends.

I love Disney Movies I have new and classics. this one is a good add on with the rest of the Lion Kings.

It's about the same as the Comic book version just with real animals in some scenes. It's an OK movie.

Animated version was better overall but wildlife and fight scenes were amazing in live action version

I myself dont see anything special with live remakes but my girl loved it so I had to get it for her.

I liked the characters in this one, but usually when you do a remake it's hard to top the original....

Loved the original. And in the recent trend of animation to "real characters" this is one of the best.

I love the real animal aspect of the film. Gives it a more sense of realness, but it is the same story

I do prefer the animated version of the Lion King but they did do a nice job on the live action film.

This movie looks excellent in 4k/HDR. If you are trying to showcase your TV, this is the disc for it.

The movie stops and the screen goes black for a few seconds. Not sure if it is the disc or my player.

Movie was okay not as good at the original movie. It’s good to rent not to buy it’s a one time thing.

Great remake of a Disney classic; it was really cool to see real life Animals tell the tale of Simba.

I loved this Lion King movie. It was a new chapter of the old version for new audiences to discover.

I liked it but some of the emotion is lost in the realistic effects. Original is still better imo.

It was cool to see an animated movie that I loved as a kid brought to life. The affects was awesome.
