Same story we know, but graphically much better. Computers have truly enhanced the movies.

Great movie. I was excited to see the transition from cartoon to live action. Beautiful!

The Lion King 2019 is a film millennials might more like then people who grew up with the original 94 film. This is not a one to one remake the things Jon Favreau changed in this film were unnecessary and would have better left alone. If he was going to remake The Lion King I would preferred he kept everything the same from the 94 film. Of course you know the lion king is about a young prince who is being groomed to take throne. Until the untimely death of his father by his uncle who has eyes on the throne himself. So young Simba runs away meets new friends finds himself runs into his old childhood friend. She tells him he’s needed back at Pride Rock he needs to take him place as King. They argue he thinks about it and decides she’s right and on to Pride he goes. Their he has the big showdown with his uncle and henchmen defeats them right all wrongs. Simba is King all hail King Simba & Nala’s new cub.

Enjoyed it even though at times the expressions on the animals faces was almost lifeless.

This is a adaptation of the animated version of this film. Great visuals and story line.

The movie is very clear in 4k and sounds terrific. The steelbook is worth the purchase.
