This is one of the best looking 4k Blurays you can own

While the remake is not as good as the original animated film you can't deny the Animation and technical achievement on display with this movie. The CGI is stunning and photo realistic. The 4K picture for this movie is spectacular and a great example of what the medium can offer from richer colors to incredible audio. The artwork for the Steelbook is great and comes with a 4K Copy, Blu-ray Copy, and Digital code copy. This steelbook is a nice edition to any Disney library.

If you enjoyed the animated Lion King, you will find the live action just almost as delightful. It is the same story with minor differences. How they got all those animals to perform the story is mind blowing. James Earl Jones as Mufasa's voice is just as rich as the animated version. Billy Eichner is Timon's voice, good, but not as good as Nathan Lane. Overall, though, this is definitely a quality family movie that will be enjoyed.
