I thought the live action of the Lion King was going to be different. Didn’t really care much for Beyoncé’s song.

Perfect movie for all ages. Heartwarming, realistic and inspiring. Five minutes into the movie I truly thought it was real and never questioned it lol... We enjoyed the movie so much. A much needed feeling during these times of uncertainty.

Wow what a fantastic movie for adults and young adults as well I can’t believe that they weren’t real animals this movie in 4K will blow you away the surroundsound special a fax cinematography five stars a total winner

Sadly, this movie version of the classic animated version of "The Lion King" is a dud kitty. Save your money!

Lion King will always be an all time favorite. I juat wish they would've started this one where the last one left over instead of it being a retake on the first one. But I still enjoyed and have it in my collection.

stick with the original animated movie. i would only recommend this movie if you haven't ever seen the original.

I was really skeptical about the live action version but it exceeded my expectation .it had the classic charm of the origional.The graphic were amazing. For any Disney enthusiasts it is a must have

This entire CGI film is extremely well done. The images are amazing. If you didn't know it was CGI you could believe the animals were real and dubbed. I enjoyed it very much but as I have said to friends for years Disney is a cruel and vicious movie maker. A lot of their films are not kid friendly. This features a lot of images guaranteed to make kids cry from fright.

Disney always does it! Another home run and great reboot to live action away from the animation version. Saw it in the theater as a family and we always buy when they come out to add to our home collection! Movie is def must for Lion King fans!

Disney sure does know what they are doing when these movies are made. The picture, sound, and story line are among the best. The quality of the Blu Ray and 4K are superb. I don't get too many Disney movies, but this one I had to have. :-)

I’m a huge Disney fan and collect movies so seeing this steelbook on sale was a done deal to me! Obviously the movie is amazing so once I saw the deal I had to have it! Only negative that people would hit on is that it’s just like the original but that’s a positive to me because the original was so great why change it up much? Timon and Pumba are hilarious!

This is a beautifully done remake of one of the most beautiful movies I've always loved. I didn't feel like anything was missing. They paid attention to every detail and even made it better than the original, in my opinion.

This movie should have been great since it's essentially a shot for shot remake of the 1994 animated classic, but somehow it falls just flat...it's still good, but not great. That being said, the visuals of this movie are amazing, and the CGI looks so lifelike it's crazy to think those aren't the real animals doing the performances. Worth picking up for fans.

Is even better then the cartoon , it better than live action movie , my family really enjoy the movie

Many people have bemoaned the continual stream of remakes from Disney. I admit that this one is unnecessary. But it is still well made and has value to some. My father hates animation and refused to watch the original. He watched this and enjoyed it immensely. After explaining it was still all "fake," he dismissed it...but for a while there, he enjoyed it.

I thought I wouldn't like a live action CGI feature remake of the Lion King, but it was very good. Very similar to the animated film, but I didn't mind as the realism in the animal's makeup and facial features were great.

We like most of Disney's live action movies. This one by Jon Favreau is disappointing. He did great with Mandalorian. It is as though Jon tried very hard to please the audience by telling an almost identical story as the cartoon, however, not nearly as funny or as good as the cartoon version as Disney worried too much about political correctness in this movie. A movie is for entertainment, not so much on presenting political statements. Guess Star Wars Episodes 7 to 9 did Disney in when Rian Johnson offended most of Star Wars' fans by destroying Star Wars, so Disney has gone the other extreme to self correct itself trying to please what they think the audience would like to see but failed miserably with all the political correctness injected. Sad !!! Computer graphics is good as always, hence the 3 stars. Story line not so much, which it would have deserved a 1 star rating.

The most expected movie of the year for the whole family, the remake of the story that touched the heart of many throughout the years with an excellent story line. You can not miss to watch it in this new real format for all ages.

When we first got this version, we weren't sure if it could possibly replace the animated version. But the visuals / cinematography are absolutely stunning. And my son enjoys watching this one more that the original!

This is a great deal. It comes with a cool case and the digital copy. But I only got it because it was on Sale. The movie itself is pretty much just a copy of the cartoon version but thats ok because the cartoon was awesome
