I will never not watch, sing, or talk about this film. I am in love with Ursula. She's probably my favorite under the sea villian. Her catchy songs, her diva personality, and her ability to help others get what they want makes me enjoy the brilliance of the writers, music, and lyric composers.

A classic brought back with a beautiful 4k transfer.

We bought the Little Mermaid dvd on blu ray to watch before our up coming disneyland trip. I as a young girl had the little mermaid on vhs, and watched it all the time. The blu ray version is amazing. The colors are so vibrant and the quality is crisp. My boys loved watching it, and now they are even more excited about the Little Mermaid ride at Disneyland. I would recommend this dvd to any disney lover.

This fits the classic formula. Man meets woman. Man falls for fish... Really, though, if you like the classic Disney formula of child of single surviving parent goes on an adventure and falls in love and love saves the day, plenty of music, then this is probably second only to Beauty and the Beast.

Never saw this in 3-D until this release. My family has been wanting to watch a 3-D movie together and this was the one we chose. Most of us had seen this movie before, but with the 3-D .. It's like seeing it new all over again Included is other formats of the basic movie also, so you don't need to get the glasses out every time. Fun for everyone in your family. Highly recommended.

I know there are some that do not like Disney but this was for my daughter that absolutely loves The Little Mermaid and all the other Disney movies. From what I've noticed (as mom watches these movies with her), this movie has great sound and picture. The sounds sound great on the surround and that causes my daughter to dance, sing along and most importantly, Smile.

I was expecting brilliant color when the movie started. Was greatly disappointed as they appeared muted. After a few minutes my mind adjusted. Wrongly assumed that with the 4K release things would really pop. Still enjoyed the nostalgia.

Ariel's story is a great one that i look forward to sharing with my daughter now that we own this. From under the sea to dancing on land the story covers so much ground, no pun intended, with great songs, action, and beautiful animation If you like Disney you're already buying this regardless of my review because its yet another of their classics.

this was the perfect gift for my sister, we're both in our 20's and grew up watching The Little Mermaid almost everyday. We literally wore out the VHS as kids and had not seen the movie in years. With new Blu-rays and TVs the colors are brighter and more amazing than i remembered. My sister loved it and it made for a perfect sister movie night.
