Very disappointing nothing like the original shows.

ENJOYABLE & ENTERTAINING MOVIE, WITH A NEW LOOK ON STORY OF " THE LONE RANGER " .

Can't believe that I wasted money on this goofy movie.

If you are looking for a fun, entertaining western with a modern editing style, this is the movie for you. Yes, the narrative does slow down at times, but it's always good to pay attention because they come back up later on. Last half hour of the movie was the greatest with a good 20 minutes action sequence involving a train chase. There are other issues in this film, where it seems like it could pass for a kids movie, with a bit of comedy. But at times it gets very serious, and all of a sudden if become an adult film where a kid should not watch it. I can see why people would hate it, but you have to go in there for a ride, not to break the film apart.

I watched the original TV show a little when I was young, but I have no strong attachment to it. So I went into this film with no pre-set expectations. I found it to be solidly entertaining... even though it didn't get a great reception at the box office when it was in theaters. High production values, likeable cast, and a well shot western backdrop are strong points. There are some very cool action setpieces involving trains that will be a lot of fun for any railroad enthusiasts. Johnny Depp's performance is 'quirky' in a way that's similar to what he's done in Pirates of the Caribbean, Alice in Wonderland, and other recent 'eccentric character' films. So you're enjoyment of his performances in those films is probably a good indicator of whether or not you will like his character in this movie.

I watched this movie at my friend's house, he couldn't stand the movie after the first 30 mins and then felt asleep, but I kept watching it until the end. All I can say this movie is an unusual movie but I personally like it

I know there was, and still is, a lot of flack about this most recent portrayal of the Lone Ranger story. I myself found it an enjoyable movie. You just have to forget all you've ever know about the story on TV and film, and loose your belief on how a western should be "displayed". True it is a Pirates of the Caribbean set in the old west, but it is a fun film and deserves a chance.

Everyone was saying how this was one of the worst movies of the year, yet when I saw it I went it with a blank slate and it was a fun and mindless way to blow an evening I would recommend it

This movie isn't bad and it isn't great either. It is just okay. I think it might have been better if it was shorter. Beware that this movie has a very long running-time!

Many have said that this movie is not the best but, I have to say that this movie was awesome. I have seen it twice now and I love it! Johnny Depp is the best and this is just another awesome movie showing his awesome acting skills. Must buy for any TRUE Johnny Depp Fan!!

I read the reviews, so I had low expectations. And good thing. I like Armie Hammer in Man From Uncle, but here he did not work. Maybe if I give it another try, but I can't get up the motivation. As you must expect, Depp was fun to watch. He's aging but still nuts. Nobody else can pull off such a character. This movie needed more action, and the Lone Ranger needed to be less of a pansy.

Johnny Depp can't make a bad movie and this movie is no exception..

I like Johnny Depp movies, and this is like all of the others to me--a bit unusual to say the least. If you like the roles he chooses to play, then you'll like this one also.

I got The Lone Ranger for Christmas and I loved The Lone Ranger with Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer. I liked Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as John Reid.

The film has allot of great material to make up a great film, but the director doesn't know how to organize concepts and create momentum for the plot & story. I wish the film was made in the 90's or early 00's we would have received a better organized film with more clearer narrative. The art of editing in today's cinema has been lost!

I really enjoyed this comical action movie. I have no doubt that you will like it to.
