Overall I love this collection. I have always wanted the extended version of the Lord of the Rings! All the discs work great and I am looking forward to viewing all the additional content.

While it is unfortunate that there is that slight green tint in the first movie, I feel that this Blu-Ray Collection is more than worth the price of admission. I must have for fans of the series.

If you love the Lord of the Rings films, this needs to be in your collection. Each film is extended by over 40 minutes and comes with 3 addition discs that details the creation and film-making processes that went in to making them.

I own these on DVD but when I saw this set on sale around Christmas, I couldn't skip the chance to watch these again on blu ray. What also made me get this set is the included documentaries of the islands and different locations where this movie was filmed.

Excellent. All the unseen scenes that were left out of theatrical versions are added and left in here on these extended edition bluerays. Well worth the time and dough!

Been looking all over for this box set, keep finding the theatrical version all over the place but was very excited to find it here and on sale. Wish Best Buy had the stock of movies they used to.

This is the best way to experience Peter Jackson's vision. Do yourself a favor and go ahead and purchase this timeless collection. Then forget that the Hobbit movies were ever made.

Absolutely phenomenal! I have loved these movies for years, wonderful to finally own the extended set! Perfect for watching during the holidays in the pandemic! Great value!

The Trilogy has always been my favorite reading. The movie makers and screen writers did an awesome job transferring the story from the books into the movies. The actors made the story believable. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy is truly one of the epochs of our time.

The magnificence of Lord of the rings can appreciated only in the Blu-ray's and the extended edition makes the movies all the more watchable. Individual cases for each movie makes Blu-ray/DVD's managable.

I saw LOTR in theaters when I was a kid. The blu ray on a big screen with surround just takes me back to those times in theaters. If you are a fan, it’s definitely worth the purchase.

I have always loved these movies. My 16 year old mentioned wanting to see the hobbit movies, so I picked these up along with the others. I really recommended the extended versions for more character background.

I have liked the J.R Tolken story for many years and now it is finally available on CD. I recommend that everyone read the Hobbit and Trilogy Lord of The Rings as it will improve the movie experience. The movies that I purchased from Best Buy are top notch.

Very happy with the official High Definition Extended Version Trilogy! These films are as good as they come. Solid packaging and great design with middle-earth map inside of flip lid. "You shall not pass" on this edition!

NO REGRETS!! So much extra content. Idk why when the subject matter is so good the extended versions aren’t the theatrical versions... THIS is the only way to watch LOTR.

My only complaint was what I listed in the not so great area above. I had hoped that each of the movies would be all on the one disk so i wouldn't have to get up during the middle of them and swap to the second part. That being said they are stunning in HD.

For the longest time Best Buy was out of stock of the original LOTR trilogy. Once the Hobbit movies were in theaters this box set was almost always sold out. Finally last fall/winter I picked this up for myself.

I will watch these forever. These movies are amazing if you’re a fan you must buy this. I waited a few years until they were more affordable and now the price is much better

Love the case, clarity, and extra context. This is the best way to fully experience the trilogy,cause the regular dvds don't have all the scenes shown here, and to me its so awesome to see the behind the scenes and the making off a movie I really like

I'm very much into the lord of the rings and the hobbit movies so much that I want to be buried with them when I pass from this world. When the last extended edition hobbit movie comes out I can watch a marathon of movies in stunning blue ray.
