I'm very pleased with my movies purchase and at a great price. Wish they were a larger selection of movies.

A couple of potentially misleading things: the digital copy for this collection has expired, and the bonus discs are not Blu-Ray. That said, there are no less than FOUR audio commentaries for each film; behind-the-scenes, "fly-on-the-wall" documentaries for each; and the same map of Middle Earth from the books is featured in the packaging. The rest includes the same series of documentaries I remember from the original extended DVD release.

Wonderful trilogy! The extended editions added so much to the story we never saw in the theatrical versions. I will always go back to watch the extended editions!

Excellent for the Lord of the Rings fan. All the extras and extended version for hours of returning to Middle Earth.

I personally love Lord of The Rings and the Hobbit. They are my favorite movies. The cost was not bad so well worth the money.

If you are a big fan of this Series this is perfect addition to your collection. packaging is excellent and that makes this set extra special.

The movies are great especially in the blu Ray format. The extra features included in this trilogy are amazing and will have you busy for hours and hours. This trilogy makes a great gift.

I finally decided to get The Lord of the Rings Extended Edition on Blue-Ray with 20+ hours of extras, and it was definitely worth it. I love it! Very good deal from Best Buy and shipped quickly.

Holy moly this box set includes tons of extra footage. It all looks great, even better than I remember in theaters. Probably a must-have if you are a LOTR fan. This is the ultimate collection.

I enjoyed the adventures from watching The Lord of the Rings. Given the length, it feels as though I have experienced 100% of everything.

IF you really love LOTR then you'll enjoy this. There are so many scenes i've never watched before and expands on the story much more.

The movies were all ready excellent; however, this set allows for me to see them in High-Definition, which has allowed me to experience these films all over again.

Wanted to see the scenes not included in regular version. If you are a lord of the ring fan you need to purchase extended version

This set is my upgrade from DVD to Blu-ray and it's well worth the wait to get it! The extended versions returns subtle story details that fans will enjoy.
