    The LOTR trilogy on blue ray is amazing. The packaging is wonderful, and the high def picture does the movies the justice they deserve. Timeless.

    These are timeless movies! I can never get tired of them! As far as the packaging goes, it seems like they've been previously opened. The package didn't seem pristine like its brand new. Even the shrink wrap was questionable. Another weird thing was that two of the cases came in with the 4K Ultra HD label even though these are supposed to be only Blu-ray. Something is up with the packaging.

    I already had the Lord of the Rings Extended Editions on DVD, so I upgraded to the Blu-ray when they went on sale. Outstanding movie by the way!
