I was waiting for this to go on sale on blu-ray since i already had these on DVD. It was well worth the wait. There is so much extra features in this its hard to imagine a better set.

If you like the Lord of the Rings trilogy and you have a nice home theatre system at home, you must buy this trilogy. The picture and sound are as good as you're going to get on blu-ray.

Three great movies to watch over,and over again. I love to watch in a row on a cold winter night. The movies have everything action,great story, great love story,snd loaded with comedy.

The roles paired to the actors was just perfect. When i read the book i now picture the actors in the movie perfectly to the roles in the books. Great cg & music score too,

I've been waiting for this on Blu-Ray for a while and glad its here. The quality was amazing. Shared it with my wife for her first time through the Extended versions and loved it.

I love love love this! It has hours of extended footage which cannot be found anywhere else! The movies are great to begin with but this collection is fantastic!

Got a great deal on this set before Christmas. Well worth the money for all of the extras. One case was cracked, so that was disappointing, but the disc was fine.

I wish they had transferred the appendixes to blu-ray as well or at least offered the feature films by themselves for those of us that already have the appendixes on DVD.
