I think these discs look and sound spectacular. This remaster has been getting a lot of gate from the purists but in my opinion I really like the look of them. Plus the Atmos sound track and the bass are demo worthy. Two thumbs up.

Love these movies! Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos make it the best you can own. The reason I gave it 4 out 5 stars is the digital remaster of these movies made some scenes a little soft and some of the faces waxy looking. But overall these are the best they have ever looked and sounded. I would get it while you can. I missed the first release around Christmas time but was lucky enough to get it the second time around.

This the third time buying these movies since these are the 4K version. They look a whole lot better in the 4k format and I happy to of bought this set like thisand still enjoying these movies.

Great movies. Just a word of caution. Seems like sometimes the disc isn't read properly or will glitch and screen will go black. If that happens what I have done is I take the disc out, turn the player off, turn it back on and re insert....that usually works... It's this new 4k format I guess is not so reliable . But looks amazing with a proper set up.

Watching these movies in 4k are awesome! The picture quality is really unbelievable! I really appreciate the movies more and the scenery absolutely amazing! I highly recommend buying this product!

The Lord of the Ring movies have NEVER looked better than they look in 4k, if you must have the best presentation of these classic movies this is it. The set includes the theatrical and extended versions.

Great trilogy, so happy they enhanced the movies. I can definitely tell a difference and it was nice to be able to replace our old extended versions that skipped from being played too much lol.

Is there any other rating for LOTR? This is incredible on a 70" 4k TV. The fact that it comes with both Extended and Theatrical releases is a bonus though I haven't watched the Theatrical version since the Extended came out.

The 4k rendition was amazing. Choose original theatrical version or extended cut. Overall, very pleased with this product. Have not had a chance to check out special features but will check them out next.

Awesome 4K transfer! Some of the best Dolby atmos I’ve ever heard. Best deal for the money versus the Steelbook or collectors edition.

Had to get these movies in 4k after purchasing my new oled tv. They look phenomenal in 4k and the difference is astounding in 4k. A must for fans of the series and for those who want to watch.

Finally on 4K, All three extended versions of The Lord Of The Rings on 4k! Excellent upgrade and the way to watch these films! Great deal too, Thank you BestBuy! I highly recommend getting your copy while you still can!

Really great quality of the films. Only draw back is the way the box is set up. It's a lot of disks and it's kind of cheaply made having multiple disks on top of another in the case. Would have been nicer to have each disk separate or just a nicer case for the disks.

Love these movies. I have the original packaged release. Having it in this format was wonderful, as well. I have them in the cloud as well. The true collector, collects.

Catch this on sale and the value is pretty great. You get a full set of 3 discs for the theatrical versions. A set of 6 discs for the extended editions, and then the digital versions on top!

Fantastic 4K presentation !!!!!! The colors POP. The sound is enhanced. Quite a BOOM when the Helms Deep tower blows up. If you are a LOTR fan. Buy this now. If you don't have 4K TV and 4K player BUY THOSE too.

The movies looked beautiful on my 4k player and LG C2 Oled tv. I'd recommend to anyone looking to add this trilogy to their collection

If you haven’t seen this trilogy by now then stop what you’re doing and buy this, I own this on every media version it’s ever been released on. Stunning in 4K and the content holds up even 20 years later.

I still consider this trilogy to be the best films. They hold up almost twenty years later. Having this 4K collection upgrades it to modern day clarity. I upgraded my DVDs and am very pleased with this new edition.

The Lord of the Rings film trilogy both extended & theatrical cuts in 4K all in one nice package. A must have for fans and film lovers!
