The best this movies have ever looked. If you are a fan of TLOTR don’t hesitate of buying this. The movies look the best they have ever looked and it comes with both theatrical and extended editions.

This is absolutely amazing. The picture quality is very detailed. Makes you feel as if you’re watching it for the first time. They did a great job with the remastering of these movies. Well done Peter Jackson!!

Incredible value for a fantastic trilogy. The one downside is that it does not include any special features, but that's a minor one.

This is a great copy of Lord of the rings. Overall fantastic quality. My only complaint would not be in a couple of the scenes some of the scenes over saturated. But it's not bad and barely noticeable.

Reviews said that the HD version has questionable image quality. The image quality of this UHD version is simply astounding. This will be one of the disks you pull out to show off what a good 4K home theater system can do. This box set includes both the theatrical and extended versions, but none of the bonus materials the DVD/SD extended editions were famous for.

The quality of these films has never been better when I never thought they could be improved. The color correction is different than the originals, but it is more immersive. Very pleased with the transfer.

I didnt buy the hype, never bouhjt any 4k movies. This went on sale so i decided to give in. MY LAWD, 4k UHD LOTR is INSANE!!!

I couldn't wait for this to be released in 4K. I've watched this series many times since it was released, but to see it now in 4K is like seeing it for the first time again.

My wife is a big fan of these movies, and i have to say they look fabulous in 4k. I really enjoyed the extra details in this version and the Dolby atmos sound is awesome. Don’t pass this one up!

What can I say other than AWESOME? The 4K transfer is amazing, as is the Atmos soundtrack, with sound coming from all speakers throughout the entire movie. Highly recommended.

The inclusion of the 4K theatrical as well as the extended versions of these 3 masterpieces is well done. The transfers are clean and sharp and play well on our 70” Samsung and the sounds boom on our sound system. The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 was the packaging spindles were broken on two of the six disc dividers.

A great story that is even more entertaining to watch due to the enhanced detail of 4K visuals. You won't regret buying it.

Was so excited when they released this series in 4k and it lived up to the expectations. Picture and sound were fantastic. Highly recommend for any fan of the series. Worth the upgrade form Blu-ray.

People are complaining about DNR. But to my eyes and ears (QLED, 7.1 Atmos System). It’s perhaps the best 4K’s that I have seen. Don’t let people with lesser systems ruin a great experience for you.

Absolutely the definitive collection of this fantastic trilogy. Picture quality is great and is a noticeable upgrade from the Blu-Ray sets, and the extended editions are must watch if you are a fan.

I have scanned all three movies and am starting to watch Fellowship. These movies are the best they have ever looked. If you are a fan of the trilogy and have a 4k television, I recommend it highly.

This movie looks amazing and I’m glad we got both the theatrical version and extended version. One of my favorite trilogy’s of all time. Looks great on our Sony Bravia 85 inch tv.

New transfer looks fantastic! Would have given this 5-stars, but disc 1 of the extended Fellowship had a strange defect that caused it to freeze and skip ahead either by a few minutes, or once to the end of the disc at the "one more step" scene when Sam and Frodo are leaving the Shire. This issue was observed on multiple players, including an Xbox Series X and PS5.

I didn't see much of an improvement in the sharpness and fidelity, but the colors are much improved. It's good to know that I have the ultimate version of the films. The dolby atmos track is great.

Love the fact that it has the theatrical version and the extended version of all three movies I don’t think this films will look at it any better than it does right now in 4K I highly recommend it
