The Lord of the Rings Trilogy in 4k ultra HD Blu-ray is an outstanding add to and a must have in any collection. You will not be disappointed.

Always great film set in excellent 4K output. Just the thing for my new 4K TV. Color, sound and detail can't be beat for this classic.!

Great for a weekend of movie watching. The 4k edition enhances the visual and audio effects for the updated home theater system.

Great sound. Can here dialogue that I could not hear before and more left/right and surround sound sounds. A lot of the scenes have been lighted up in video.

If you're thinking about the purchase, just go ahead and do it. You don't need my view on one of the greatest movie series, you know how great it is

I can see why this is considered an essential 4k disk if you own an OLED and 4k player. It's gorgeous.

Watching these movies again in 4k is a totally new experience. The 4k quality is truly outstanding and you will not be disappointed

So glad that I purchased this in 4k. One of my favorite films. The extended version is long so be prepared. Other than that, enjoy your time in the Shire!!!

I had not seen the extended version and it does make it feel like a new movie. The 4K and Dolby atmos are excellent as well

Giving 5 stars because I love Peter Jackson's work. Though I didn't notice vast differences between bluray and 4k

this is the perfect set for fans of the Trilogy, includes regular and extended versions in 4k . way up upgrade from standard bluray worth every penny

Amazing, hands down the best way to watch these movies in terms of visual/audio quality. Nice that it comes with both the original and extended editions.

The overall picture quality and sound was excellent. Some of the effects shots were an obvious overlay. They didn't transfer well to 4K. My Fellowship disc had a bad scene. The scene with Gandalf and the Balroc would not play. Disc would glitch and jump ahead to the next scene.
