Great trilogy, love these and I do have the bluray collectors limited edition set already Leather bound books, but I collect steelbooks and eventually I'll need to get a 4K tv.

All three movies have nice steelbook cases along with a steelbook slip case that holds all. Three movies. This has both extended and theatrical versions.

Absolutely stunning transfer! These look fantastic in 4K. The depth, blacks, and detail really shine. I’m very happy with this release, and the SteelBook set is gorgeous.

Amazing 4K video transfer. Amazing audio and the sale includes the much wanted extended versions of each motion picture. Steelbooks are super cool as well. Love it.

OMG I really love this new LOTR 4K Set. If you are lucky enough to have snagged this one. Comes with 4K Disc only of original movie and extend version of the movie.

Gorgeous steelbooks! They’ve quickly become one of my favorite steel sets and the fact that both theatrical AND extended versions are 4k is the cherry on top.

Excellent steelbook collection of some of the greatest fantasy movies ever made. There are some small issues with the video DNR but overall, crisp and extra detailed.

My steelbooks came were in perfect condition but the steel box carrying them was badly dented. I wish i could have exchanged mine however they sold out first day.

This is one of the nicest collections to date for The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The case is nice and glossy while the steelbooks have a matte spot glossed finish.

The best trilogy of our time and an incredibly gorgeous steelbook design. A must own for collectors. The 4K was also done incredibly well enhances all of the films.

I'm a big LOTR love this set perfect addition to my collection the 4K was what I was waiting for.Also the steelbooks and casing complements the set.

I really was excited to add this set. It has both versions and it is packed with so much extras. All i can say is be prepared to spend a weekend bingeing. Enjoy

I have been waiting for so long to get a hold of these Trilogy in 4K I love my 4K TV’s from BestBuy and the customer associates are always courteous and friendly.

These are reference caliber 4k Dolby Atmos discs that will showcase your system - we've got a 5.2.4 setup and these are wonderful representations of the films. A+

My SteelBook case came damaged as well. As described by another reviewer, it looks like somebody hit it with a box cutter. Also has a dented corner. I purchased this in tandem with The Hobbit SteelBook set, which arrived completely unscathed. What stinks though is that I bought these as a gift, and I feel a bit sheepish presenting it in this condition. Unfortunately it doesn't appear as if I can get a replacement. Honestly, I wish I would have ordered two and kept the best one.

The box set is great but I had to scramble to get a replacement. Initial one came smashed in the box. Have had this same issue multiple times with the limited edition box sets including the Infinity Wars set. I complained to the corporate office and pointed out that the packing of these items is the issue. I am sure there is a great deal of effort given to produce these items including this one but the failure has come time and time again in the shipping department.
