Films looked amazing. I ordered 2 sets, and both arrived dented. Both were poorly packaged. I returned the one with the most damage. Bubblewrap would make a huge difference. Best Buy, please invest in better packaging for collectible items. No one should have to accept damaged product.

Gorgeous remaster of the iconic 3 films 9f lord of the rings. The packaging is amazing, the movies are well protected. Extended versions are divided across two disks... This is a feature, cause you are gonna need that intermission.

Glad I went with this set instead of paying extra $30 for the set with the ring. Heard bad reviews on that one. Overall, this set is awesome and well put together. Highly recommended for fans of this movie. Great collection to have.

Amazing Steel Book set! The packaging is beautiful, and pairs nicely with the Steel Book set of The Hobbit, which features a similar design. Highly recommend getting both of you can. They make a great addition to any collection.

This is the definitive set. Picture quality is crisp. Even if some of the efx might be a little flawed, the presentation overall is amazing. I just wish BB would stop sending my collectibles in padded envelopes.

The Lord Of The Rings! My favorite set of films ever. I spend 14 hours watching this trilogy at lease twice a year. Love it! I now have been blessed with this 4K, steel book, collection worthy set. Magnificent!!

Amazing Trilogy! These films look great in 4K and the artwork on these steelbooks are wonderful. Love that they come in a case that holds all three movies. A must have for any collector and a great addition to my collection.

The 4k remaster is quite detailed, almost to a distracting clarity. There's a lot that's been witten about whether the remastering means we "lost" something but for now, I've enjoyed the tremendous sound and picture quality.

The artwork on the metal packaging is stunning. The set includes both the theatrical release and the extended version for each movie. And of course, the 4K is spectacular. If you love these movies, this set is a must-have.

I love the steal design. The picture and sound are great. My order came in with 3 dents because of it being shipped in a bag and not a box. If you can pick yours up at the store do that. Still a very nice item for a fan.

Absolutely thrilled to get the trilogy in a 4k Steelbook edition. These films are "Top Shelf" movies that deserve revisiting from time to time in order to reveal little things that went overlooked in the previous watch.

A masterpiece in modern film making, a must-own for any fan of cinema. This looks and sounds phenomenal, they only slight issue, is there is some dnr in some areas, but not enough to take away from the film

Its gorgeous, its Lord of the Rings in 4K, of course it is. Originally had is shipped and it was sent in a padded envelop, no box. It go destroyed. Was really disappointed that I had to go to a store to exchange it, thankfully they had another.

Surprised that it arrived in flawless condition. No dents or scratches, as I often find in steelbook box sets. Only have watched Fellowship so far, but it looked gorgeous. I’m sure the next two just as beautiful.

Best Picture quality i have ever seen on my TV. These movies look amazing. I was in awe the first time watching at how great the remastered picture was. Includes thw extended edition and the theater edition.

It's like watching it for the first time all over. The picture is absolutely amazing! One of the best 4k movies out there. Some green screen and CG show their age, but the overall picture is stunning. Pick it up!

I got these the second time they came out and I'm so glad I was able to get a pack, the artwork on these are so great as an LOTR fan this is a must price is a little up there but its so worth it!

Kinda disappointed. While the films are objectively fantastic, and they look great in 4k, and I really dig the steelbook design of the cases, I'm really pretty disappointed about 2 things: 1. They couldn't fit the extended editions on one 4k disc each? I guess it must really be that large, but it feels like it would have been nice to not have to switch out discs in the middle of the movies. 2. There are so many extras that have been released in the past, I'm shocked this doesn't come with it. I was going this would be a definitive edition, of sorts, so I wouldn't need my DVDs anymore, but I guess not. Overs, great films, just slightly disappointing product. Still recommend it for someone who wants these in 4k.
