When I think of westerns, this one is near the top of the list every time. Filled with a famous cast of big names it checks all the boxes for a great western!

The special edition has a few featurettes that give some of the background of the making of the movie. Movie has charm and the extras are facsinating well worth getting.

Good old fashion western. Remake wasn’t bad either

This is one of the all time great classic movies. Best Buy made it available at a great low price. I was happy to add it to my collection. Watched it again the day I bought it.

This is the best of the western movies made in the 1960s . A stellar cast, and maybe the best and most recognized theme songs of all time. And also , the best screenplay done in years .

Bought this just to do my cinema homework and get to know all of the previous versions of the Magnificent Seven before seeing the recent version. It was slow... but not as slow as the original Japanese version. I'm glad I watched it before seeing the new one.

This is a great (classic) movie. Nothing has changed; the ending is still the same. But I think the digital sound is better than i remember from the original movie.

I enjoyed the older style movie due to its good acting and directing. I remember it as a kid and it brought back good memories. I will enjoy re-watching it several times

These types of movies can be a delightful treat for grown ups. It's hard to find this kind of treat for people who were really into this type of movie. Glad to find it!

This is an all time classic movie that can be watched over and over again and I never get tired of it. If you have never seen this one, do so and you won't be sorry.

They keep remaking movies, but usually the only improvement is the technology. In this case is became clearly apparent that sometimes no remake can make up for the quality of the original cast.
