Viewer discretion advised- the content and language is typical of a Tarantino film, but the plot is great and the filmography is also awesome. I bought this on a whim and love the HD. If you aren't offended by blood and words, this is an excellent action film.

Good, all around fun movie!! I enjoyed it very much!!

Bought this as a gift for my husband. He loves this movie!! Now he can watch it anytime he wants during quarantine. We find the movies we love are not available via streaming 24/7/365.

Having had the privilege of seeing the original, this one was an updated version of what should be a classic western for modern day. A powerful acting performance by all and a cast of great actors bring this story to the screen. An very entertaining film and a must see for any enthusiast of a good western movie.

I used to watch the old version with my grandpa. A bunch of bad guys are doing bad things and a town wants to hire help to get rid of them. The problem is they don't have tons of money. They give the money to one man who goes out and finds others. Now not all of them will survive but it is a good showdown.

This remake is not near as good as the original, however, it's not bad. The overall premise is somewhat the same, but the story line is different along with added humor. The character development isn't as good as the original film, but hey, Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt? They're always worth a movie ticket!

Didn't know much about the movie other than hearing it was very good so I decided to pick it up. I'm a fan of western movies (preferably more modern movies) and this one has got to be up there as one of my all time favorites. Just get it, it's well worth it.

Great action western solid acting by top actors and the shootouts are amazing one of the sequels that are as good or better than the original Ive watched It many times

They've been trying to remake THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN for years and I can't say I was ever excited about that idea. But I saw this in theaters and was happily surprised at how good it was. It has a terrific - Vincent D'Onofrio is my favorite of the group - and it well worth seeing.

A really fun remake reteaming director Anton Fuqua and Denzel Washington for the 3rd time. Lots of other stars shine here as well including Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, and Vincent D'Onofrio. Lots of humor sprinkled throughout this somewhat grim tale. Recommended.

I bought this film for my dad to watch, I thought he liked it

I remember watching the original movie and liking it. I knew I had to watch the remake. It didn't let down. Although I don't remember everything about the original movie, this movie holds its own on sticking to the script. It has plenty of action and suspense!

While the original still holds up today, the new reboot is entertaining and has its moments. If you are expecting to be blown away, you will be let down. However, if you are looking for a timeless theme in a western setting and are not looking to be challenged mentally, then this movie should foot the bill.

Denzel is clever in his delivery as an always cool as a cucumber gangster with a hero complex. He steps in to save the day along with a team of comical and lovable gun slinging outlaws for a town of folks who just wanna keep their homes. A definite must watch!

Denzel Washington once again proves that he is one of the best actors in the world! To boldly assume a role made famous by another iconic actor ( Yul B.) and pull it off with such ease is impressive! Magnificent 7 is a must see if you like Denzel or westerns.

I wanted a wild and action filled ride. I wanted to be reminded of the old westerns of my mother's childhood. I wanted. I got what I wanted and then some. The remake did not have me regretting watching it. I would keep this one with the original classic.

Brilliant updating of American transplant of Japanese cinema masterpiece. Gorgeous cinematography. Top-notch cast. Plenty of action. Tasteful sprinkling of humor. Screen play corrects western myth and accents contemporary issues. Rewards multiple viewings.

Having always been a fan of westerns, I wasn't expecting much more than horses and guns, as is the usual requirement for westerns. Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, and an ensemble cast of characters make this a convincing story with a considerable amount of depth to each hero. Definitely worth seeing.

Great movie with action and a good story line. The cast chosen for the movie was right on point. If you have seen the original magnificent 7 this movie has some of the same characteristics but with a different story line but all together a very good movie.
