I wanted to see this movie in the theater and decided to wait until it came out on blu ray. I really liked this movie and found it really entertaining. I'm not a big fan of western movies BUT I do like Denzel and Chris Pratt. The whole cast was awesome and I was glad I added this to my movie collection.

I first saw this movie at a theater. Having seen the original I was impressed enough with the fresh look and modern special effects that I forgot this was a remake. I enjoyed it enough that it was a must buy in a time that I've become a real picky buyer.

Fuqua (Director) does it again with this film. The action, story and cinematography is amazing. Much respect to the original but this one is better. (Not better than seven samurai which is the original... original masterpiece that this film westernized.)

This was a great remake of an old classic. I was surprised, and in awe of the actors that did this movie. Until you're watching, you wouldn't know the amount of talent there is in this movie; and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good movie.

Pretty good movie that has a good storyline centering around Denzel Washington's character recruiting some help (Chris Pratt, among others) to help the defenseless town of Rose Creek. I felt like they really could have/should have dove deeper into each of the recruits backstory quite a bit more.

If you're a western Buff like I am. You're really gonna like this one, why there's more shoot'em up in this movie then There's pancake served at an IHOP on Sunday morning . So if you're a western buff like I am you better add this one to my collection

The movie was entertaining, although thin on plot. I remember the original being better. I like most of the actors involved, and I was entertained, but felt a little dissatisfied at the end, because most of the movie was comprised of shoot-em-up action scenes strung together with some dialog.

I really enjoyed the feedback from the cast & the director the was inserted in the movie scene while viewing. What a unique concept, the movie was a excellent homage to the original. Superb acting, the villain was extra nasty. Exceptional movie!!!!!

This is a great "re-make" of the original. Don't expect an exact duplicate of the original, but the main story is more than there. The different characters and the cast that portrays them is fantastic. Great job, Great story, Great action and acting.

Often times the remaking of a classic film ends in disappointment. Not with this one. The original holds it's own as a classic, but this version of The Magnificent Seven brings in a whole new audience with it's terrific story, action, and star power.

Wow that's what you think when you watch this movie i came up in the western era of T.V and this a very great update on the western film era as always (Denzel Washington,Ethan Hawke, Chris Pratt) show what acting is all about

I'm a fan of the original Yul Bryner movie, as well as the short lived TV show from the 90s. As far as quality goes, this is right up there with them. Casting was great across the board. The story was nothing new but it didn't have to be. This reimagining is a good, quality, modern cowboy movie.

Denzel Washington is superb in his role as a leader of the 7 good guys who fought the evil & greedy tyrant who wants the gold in the mine of a little town. He bought the police force and other politicians of this town. Good triumphs evil in the end.

Yes I have to say that The Magnificent Seven is a Excellent 4K UHD Bluray doesn't have a Classic Way of Storytelling but if you are a Fan of Westerns and own a 4K TV with HDR you Definitely have to pick this Up when you purchase a 4K Player. Good Film and a Great 4K Transfer I recommend Buying.

Denzel never fails , haven't seen him in a bad movie yet , the whole cast was awesome , story and plot where very good , right amount of action . one of the best cowboy movies I've seen in this type of roll of cowboy movies . thumbs up all the way

Similar to the original, this remake was a fun ride with lots of action. Lots of recognizable actors in the main roles, good story even if it was fairly predictable. Denzel is always good in action roles; Chris Pratt was also fun. I give it four of five stars because of the predictability. GeoS

pretty good movie to watch some what funny and action

The Magnificent 7 was excellent! I love westerns to start with, so if you like westerns too you will definitely like this one. It's not as good as Unforgiven or Silverado but it is a nice in between. Great acting with a star studded lineup. Enjoy!

I wasn't sure what to expect with this film. I'm not a huge fan of westerns but this manages to seem timeless and classic, yet still modern. Casting is great. Chris Pratt is always a welcome addition. Great story line and Denzel is great as well.

Really enjoyed this film. All actors did a great job, especially Chris Pratt - he must've been a handful for his parents. We've already watched several times and keep finding something new.
