have seen three bombs in a row over the last two weeks and two of them I paid to watch. So it was refreshing to sit down to a good western with good actors.

This was a great movie. Denzel Washington played a really good lead role and all the characters in the movie were solid. There was a lot of action and it lived up to its western predecessor. I was entertained completely.

This re-make is very well done. Plenty of action and humor. Characters are diverse. The film makers included a lot of little details from the original that might get overlooked. This version is on par with the original.

If you like modern day westerns, this is the movie for you. Excellent action and a little comedy thrown in for good measure. Make sure you have your popcorn ready because this is a flick that you will not want to pause.

The cast did a great job to make the movie good. Doing a remake of a classic is an uphill task. If movie were renamed and slight changes were made to the story would have made it an excellent movie. The cast alone makes this movie a good recommendation to watch.

A decent re-make of the original. They pretty much stuck to the original story but with a few twists and more intense action. I don't think they went too far to say they ruined it, just enhanced it with modern cinematography. Worth watching if you like westerns.

This Blu-ray arrived early and in excellent condition. The movie is entertaining, the characters are interested and the Blu-ray picture quality is outstanding.

This is another remake of a remake of a remake....... from the the original 7 SAMURAI <1954>. This story has been told many times, but i enjoyed the modern technology applied to this one. Great cast and lots of explosions! Im a Chris Pratt fan so i enjoyed it.

anyone who loved the original Magnificent Seven (not the original, original Japanese version) will like this movie. A fun remake of the movie, and to make it better yet it has Chris Pratt in it

While it's a remake of a remake, the director and actors did an excellent job of retelling this classic tale. Picked up the 4k version while on sale so I could enjoy it even more with the best picture and sound.

I'm a big fan of the original movie. This was a great imitation. Im a huge Denzel Washington fan and he can do no wrong in my opinion. This is another movie where he didn't disappoint. I was thoroughly entertained.

Although the modern Western is slowly dying this breath of fresh air comes just in time.Excellent performances and fantastic action from one of todays best directors makes this a trully must see.Looks amazing on blu-ray.Must have for the die hard western fan.

The Action is off the Hook and its really entertaining from start to finish and it has a amazing cast especially Peter Sarsgaard's performance because he did a excellent job playing a bad guy.

Bring the Equalizer to the West and what do you get? A great action movie. Remember the Russian xxxxxxxxthat's killed in the Equalizer? well she's back now as the heroine. Great entertaining film and nice steelbook

I really enjoyed this film a lot!! Great actors, and i liked the story line too. It had some really funny parts and I also liked all the action in it. If you haven't seen it I do not think you will be disappointed.

Featuring an excellent lead performance by the always-reliable Denzel Washington and an outstanding supporting cast, this remake is better acted, more interesting and far more compelling than the original on which it's based. Good action, engrossing story.

It is different than the original Magnificent 7 and that's the reason it can co exist and still be entertaining, Watched at least 3 times, waiting to for few more times as time permits. All the cast are excellent.

An interesting group of 7 "shooters" come together to avenge a town's loss and subjugation at the hand of the local bully and his men. The story didn't come across as entirely believable, but never-the-less it is well put together and entertaining.

Awsome and very enternaining film. Some funny moments, but omg the 4k is amazing! Epic battle scenes at the end in 4k is amazing. And the dirt the wood is very detailed left me breathless. Well worth the purchase!
