The casting was excellent, leading to a fun experience. It gets only 4 stars due to being a remake and there are already so many of those. The plot was also a little rushed, meeting characters in a hurry to get to the bif shoot out.

This remake is just okay. It isn't awful, but i adds nothing really, and is not as effective as the Yul Brenner version or the original Seven Samurai movie. Watch one of those, and skip this pointless remake.

I enjoy this movie from beginning to end. I am a fan of old western movies and having someone make modern ones is one of the things I really enjoy because its not all special effects and fake.

The movie was great! And a little different from what we are used to seeing these actors play in which is a win win if you ask me:-) Go get it!

I went to the movies and saw this and I knew I had to buy it when it came out on Blueray. This movie is outstanding with great action and comedy. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone.

Fantastic! This is a must see western. I'm not easy to please when it comes to westerns. I haven't seen the old one, but this remake is excellent from start to finish. The casting was perfect.

The new cast of characters works well together. The story is different but flows real well. The 4K colors and detail is excellent. If you liked it in the theatre you will amazed on your TV!

Solid movie of 7 guys to protect a town from a businessman/robber against incredible odds. Not as good as the original and if it was not titled Magnificent 7, you would think it was another Western. Good action by Denzel and Chris.

I was sceptical when I saw them remake this movie but to my surprise it wasn't too bad. It's not a movie that will change your life but you'll probably need up watching it more than once.

The quality of the Blu Ray was excellent. The picture and sound were all anyone could ask for. I am definitely pleased with my purchase.

The original Magnificent 7 is the perfect Western. This new one is an instant classic. This remake definitely puts up a good fight in comparison to the original. Great cast, get the blu ray.

This movie was great. Not sure Denzel Washington has ever made a bad one and Chris Pratt is on a roll.... Not a lot of Westerns made these days but this has jumped up as one of my favorites.

Most remakes generally miss the mark. Seems as though that's all Hollywood wants to do and most of the time, badly. Not this one it's a fun romp, dialogue is witty and is beautifully shot..

I haven't seen this movie but I decided to give it as gifts for Christmas. I gave it to one of my bosses since he is into Western movies and I gave it to my mom since she is a fan of Denzel.

This is nota remake of the original Magnificent Seven, although it the plot has many similarities. That being said, it is a good action western w a solid plot, good acting. good character development and very good cinematography..

This version of The Magnificent Seven is very good. It contains several lines from the original and you can hear Elmer Bernstein's theme at the beginning and end. If you like the original then you will probably like this one also.

Great actors, plot and action. Denzel Washington does not disappoint and neither does Ethan Hawke as the duo are at in again. If you enjoyed them in Training Day, you will enjoy this movie.
