Great movie and even better if 4k w/blu ray sound. Must have if you have surround atmos speakers. You experience the movie VS watching it.

If you want to test you 4k TV, this is one of the best movie. Colorful with bright colors and darkest of the dark, must have if you have 4k player. Only thing is kinda getting tired of movies about rescuing Matt Damon.

Good movie with a great picture. The 4k is stunning for the Martian. The red planet looks like it right outside your window.

Matt Damon is spectacular in this film about an astronaut who is stranded on Mars. In this epic space film, you experience emotions across the spectrum, from happy to sad. A great movie for a film collection, especially in 4K.

You have to have all 4K equipment to really get everything out of it and I mean audio and video equipment. I don't need to review the plot as everyone already knows it but the stunning 4K resolution really makes Mars pop out.

Great movie. Story has moments of humor and poignancy, with great characters and acting. The UHD edition is visually stunning with excellent audio track. Had Best Buy price match for $20 . Now waiting on Guardians Vol. 2 .

The Martian is a science fiction film starring Matt Damon and directed by Ridley Scott. I'm a big fan of Ridley Scott's work as a director, but I feel that most of his recent films have been very hit and miss.

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie...I wasn't sure if it was something I would like...I did like it...perfect picture and sound that enveloped you at the right times

The Martian is a fantastic film. One that I needed to add to my collection. That being said, the 4k tranfer of this film is good but not great. I was hoping for much more from this disc. I wasn't dissapointed, but not impressed either. The standard bluray is almost as good and much cheaper as of 2021.

I already had this movie on blu ray, but it was not the extended cut. So I bought it again. The movie is a lot of fun and looks great! I would highly recommend The Martian to any one looking for a fun sci fi adventure movie.

Another great 4K release. The Martian was one of my favorite films of the year when it came out. It is a welcome return to form for directory Ridley Scott. Fun, tense and a lot of heart. The 4k looks great as well

This version contains both the theatrical and extended versions on the 4k disc. A big bump from the previous 4k release is the addition of Dolby Atmos! Highly recommend.

Even better 4K!! This and Deadpool are the highest quality/most beatiful picture/most detailed 4K movie I've ever seen/own! When you buy this you get an amazing movie with visuals that match the qualitu of the film!!!

this is a great movie in itself, then add the 4K video and the Dolby sound it that much better! its one to add to the 4K collection in my option.

As you can imagine, this movie revolves heavily around science and illustrates how different life would be on mars. The 4k brings out the detail in the subtle scenes. Not overly action packed but it has it's moments.

Got to watch in 4K and HDR, very good visuals and sound, very interesting story line. Example of never giving up even when the odds are overwhelmingly stacked against you. Good movie to keep and watch many times.
