Matt Damon once again delivers shows his strength since this movie is predominantly based on his character alone worthy of an Oscar you won't be disappointed especially in ultra high definition

Just a great movie and now it is in a 4K release and that just adds to my overall impression of the movie. A story that does not disappoint and the time goes by so quickly while watching this.

Although it's not the kind of movie I would watch repeatedly, having it in 4k when I do watch it is wonderful, especially the Martian landscape. The extended version is worth the watch, too. It's not filler like in some extended versions because it adds important elements to the story.

This movie is a thrill to watch. Who would have thought watching a guy secluded on Mars by himself would be exciting to watch, but Matt Damon pulls it off. One of my favorites of the year.

While the extended minutes/scenes add little to the overall movie experience, the video is magnificent and provides a standard (at least so far) to which one would compare other 4KUHD dvd's.

This is a wonderful film and looks great in 4K. Also highly recommend the 3D Blu-ray as well. But, the 4K is awesome and again this film is superb. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed this movie from a content and visual standpoint. I purchased a LG OLED TV and this 4K movie. I appreciated that the extended and release versions were included.

I love this movie! It is the castaway of space! It's funny, it's sad, it's scary, it's a wild adventure! Matt Damon delivers!! Buy this movie and watch over and over, it is that good!

I loved this movie in the theaters. I bought it the day it came out on blu-ray. Some time later, I saw it on 4k, so I bought it again. One can never have too many copies of sci-fi movies.

I really enjoyed The Martian, extended edition 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray 2015. A very enjoyable experience.

This is one of the best 4K movie. The picture and sound are very close to real, but the special features are just like blu ray version. the Extend Edition is better than theater version.

I wish I had seen this in the theater. Wonderful movie. Phenomenal audio and video transfer. The supplemental material is fascinating to watch as well. I cannot recommend this film enough!

Besides being a very well made movie, the 4k version brought a whole new level to the viewing experience over the standard Blu-ray. Better colors, better detail.... awesome!
