This movie is more than I thought it would be. Matt Damon does an excellent job acting (like usual) but the movie keeps you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next.

Matt Damon's best film is the Martian. Want a drama that has spinets of comedy? The Martian is the film for you. It will also scratch that sci-fi itch you've been having lately too.

WOW I am so impressed with the quality of this movie in 4K i just got the new samsung 4K DVD PLAYER and it really makes all the difference in BUYING a 4K DISK over Streaming 4K

Great movie and it was great it came out in 3D the first day . Did not have to wait on it. And you get a blu ray and digital copy so it is like getting 3 movies for the price of one.

Very good movie. It felt a little long, but it was worth it to see everyone put their heads together to try and bring the Martian home. Mark Watney himself had to be brilliant and figure out new ways to survive and contact earth. It was just awesome all the way around. It makes you more interested in science in general!

Based on the trailers, I wasn't really motivated to see this movie. But, it turned out to be a great story and well executed effects. Definitely recommend (and its family friendly).

The Martian is a real winner. Matt Damon and the rest of an excellent cast do a terrific job of bring this near future scfy story to life. Seems as real as real. Highly recommended.

Heard a lot of great things about this movie and found it on sale one day while picking up something else. A great movie and the quality is fantastic. Would definitely recommend it.

This movie is a glimpse into the future of MAN and Space, One of the best made films in a long time, You are on the edge of your seat the whole movie. A true classic it will become.

This includes both the extended and original cut of the movie. The digital code that came with the movie is the extended cut. Overall picture quality was great in 4k.

This is a Great movie that highlights the human spirit, will, and determination. The special effects are awesome and believable while not taking anything away from the story itself.

Excellent movie. The picture in 4k is stunning. You feel like you are on mars. I have watched this movie at least 10 times since I got it. It is perfect for the new SUHD TV's.

Saw this movie in the theater and it is a great movie. However, did not see it in 3D. Bought the 3D version and must say it enhanced the movie and it was a thrill to watch it again.

Matt Damon gives a solid and uplifting performance in a production that was well researched and advised by NASA as well as others. With drama building up to its last moments this film's message of the value that doing the right thing plays in the U S A is a reconfirming statement of our most basic national premises.

Is this movie 100% accurate...I have no clue cause I'm not an astronaut and really it's a movie and a real good one. The cast in this is great with a sense of realism too it.

This movie was one I missed in the Theater, so when I saw it, I was very pleased with how good it is. If you enjoy Sci-Fi movies, this is worth the time to see,
