This was one of the best purchases I ever made because my husband watches it at least once a month since we got it.

I enjoyed this movie very much. The only problem was it was not included with the rest of my purchase, despite it saying it was delivered.

I'm glad this is a runner up for best picture this was great, and had a lot of unexpected comedy in it. Matt Damon did great as did Ridley Scott with directing it.

We bought this because we missed in theaters and had several friends recommend it. We have watched it a few times and enjoy it. Well done.

Watched this movie in the new HDR format. There was a noticeable difference in the color and sharpness compared to my Sony BluRay player purchased 2 yrs ago.

No offense to Matt Damon - who IS this movie and gives it the tension and emotional heft it needed. Played it a little too 'cool guy' for me considering the circumstances, but easily overlooked with scenes playing out back on Earth. Don't need to be into sci-fi to enjoy thus on a Friday night.

Best "Mars" based movie yet. Got the Steelbook Blu Ray at a great price, and it was worth it. Good characters, good story, very enjoyable. Recommended.

I had the Blu-ray version of this, but recently purchased a 4K player and thought this movie would be worth the 4K experience. Definitely was right on that.

I didn't see this movie in the theater. But we heard good things about it and we purchased it to watch. Wasn't disappointed. Really enjoyed the movie.

Previously having the original DVD, I went ahead and ordered this Extended cut. I have to say, you don't miss much with the additions made. However, what was worthwhile is the plethora of behind the scenes footage which shows how the film was made. Was nice seeing Ridley at his best.

Great video and audio and a good movie. It is one of the best demo discs for your home theater.

Matt Damon , a fine actor with the magnetism you only find in a true movie star, keeps you glued to the film. You’re with him all the way.

The Martian is an extremely well done adaptation of the Andy Weir book of the same name. The added material fits well in the movie and just extends the fun.

This was a great film with unpredictable turns and twists. In fact I reviewed this film back to back. The direction and technical aspect of this film is unmatched

I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys a little comedy with their syfi. A great mix of interstellar and gravity with a few laughs along the way.

Great feel good movie with pleasing graphics and CG. Worth a watch if you haven't seen it! Replay value is decent. Not the greatest story, but definitely a fun movie to watch, especially in 4K.
