Matt Damon was amazing in this movie. I saw it in theaters and it was both serious and funny. I knew right away I had to buy it on blu ray.

After having read the book I didn't think the movie would measure up but it did . The movie was very entertaining and well worth the watch.

What a great movie! Very entertaining and Matt Damon is fantastic. My son has watched it over and over and enjoys it every single time.

Then you'll enjoy this movie. Again, if you don't live for these 2 things, the movie can drag a little. Damon does a great job of carrying it, but any "Castaway" type film can drag no matter how great the performance. Sound and video are amazing on the bluray.

Ridley Scott returns to form in this awesome science fiction film. Beautiful, thrilling, fun, it has everything for a sci-fi fan.

I enjoyed it immensely & have recommended it to my friends. Those with a love for science, sci-fi, & a fan if Damon will enjoy this film.

Ridley Scott has been hit and miss with his sci-fi efforts, but this one is right up there with Blade Runner. It's a great performance by Matt Damon with enough intrigue and humor to keep you fully entertained for a couple hours. Overall a well done, fun film.

One man show, sometimes that’s all you need if you have a great actor.

Although you could almost say this movie is just a redone version of Cast Away, the situational differences give this movie a leg up. Fighting for survival on another planet makes for a good movie. Its even a little educational. So I would recommend watching.

By now we know he is stranded on Mars. The way he gets through each passing day is thrilling to watch as he "Sciences the heck out of it."

The Martian is not your average space movie. Matt Damon is excellent as the astronaut left stranded on Mars. He brings a light comedic sense to an overwhelming situation as you find yourself drawn into all that he is going through. It's a great ride.

Love the extra 10 minutes of footage. Gives a good perspective of some of the characters that were missing from the theater release.
