The Martian is not your average space movie. Matt Damon is excellent as the astronaut left stranded on Mars. He brings a light comedic sense to an overwhelming situation as you find yourself drawn into all that he is going through. It's a great ride.

This movie is a decent adaptation of the book. The acting and special effects are great. Wish they made more movies like this…

Love the extra 10 minutes of footage. Gives a good perspective of some of the characters that were missing from the theater release.

Then you'll enjoy this movie. Again, if you don't live for these 2 things, the movie can drag a little. Damon does a great job of carrying it, but any "Castaway" type film can drag no matter how great the performance. Sound and video are amazing on the bluray.

I enjoyed it immensely & have recommended it to my friends. Those with a love for science, sci-fi, & a fan if Damon will enjoy this film.

My husband chose this movie and it was wonderful! Not heavy on true scientific possibilities but still a cool concept for a movie.

Ridley Scott has been hit and miss with his sci-fi efforts, but this one is right up there with Blade Runner. It's a great performance by Matt Damon with enough intrigue and humor to keep you fully entertained for a couple hours. Overall a well done, fun film.

Although you could almost say this movie is just a redone version of Cast Away, the situational differences give this movie a leg up. Fighting for survival on another planet makes for a good movie. Its even a little educational. So I would recommend watching.

This movie looks outstanding on 4k tv and player. also looks great on Blu-ray . action movie.

Great Movie Good looking in 4k Extra scenes add a bit to to the movie. some of the special features are pretty decent as well.

I'm usually skeptical of movies based on books, but this one really delivers. In some ways the acting actually improves on the book.

By now we know he is stranded on Mars. The way he gets through each passing day is thrilling to watch as he "Sciences the heck out of it."

Images were very clear. It was my first time with a BlueRay. Very enjoyable.................... I have already recommended this to friends

The Martian is a great movie, but even better in Blue-ray, and at a discounted price, an overall bonus deal. Will watch this many times.

It was done in a way that seemed realistic. You could imagine what it might be like to go thru something like this

One of Matt Damon's best performances. Even if you don't enjoy science fiction you owe it to yourself to check out this great human drama.

I haven't bought this movie because I couldn't find the steelbook of it until i found it at a best buy I don't normally shop at.
