I saw The Martian in the theater and it was such a great movie, story, and acting, that I had to own it on DVD.

I loved Mission to Mars and Red Planet and this movie is in the same vein. Survival, possibilities of cultivating life, I believe Mars will always be surrounded by an aura of mystery and possibility. Highly recommend.

Don't get me wrong... This is a very good movie. Really enjoyed the details behind the engineering aspects of Mars mission, and only found myself saying "come on" to a couple unrealistic scenes. Other then that, a must see!
