Although the plot line was strikingly familiar to Red Planet, I'm gonna give this one a thumbs up. Perhaps a little slow at times, but worth a look..............should have had a cameo by Val Kilmner though lol

This movie has one of my favorite actors in it. Its a suspenseful movie that just keeps getting better.

Brilliant transfer of the film to Blu-ray, with fun bonus features which enhance its verisimilitude. Only disappointment is that there is no commentary track.

While it runs on a bit long, The Martian is a pretty darn good time at the movies. Damon holds your attention the whole time which is probably the movie's greatest accomplishment. It's like Gravity, but longer!

One of favorites of the year. So much fun. Acting is great and so is direction and movie looks amazing.
