It really doesn't add a lot to the theatrical version but Ridley Scott is worth it you and know it.

This is a really good movie and as I have a 4K Tv, DVD and sound bar with Atmos. it's really great.

With "The Martian" Ridley Scott is officially back on his A-Game (after some lackluster and problematic features). Everyone else involved is also giving great performances telling this smart and exciting tale.
