I saw this movie before it got nominated for all those awards. I'm a SciFi fan and a Matt Damon fan. I thought it was a good movie very intertwining and great special effects. If you saw "Mission to Mars" with Gary Senise or even "Space Cowboys" with Tommy Lee Jones, you should enjoy this Feature, " The Martian".

I have watch the movie twice The product was very good I would not hesitate to buy another product from Best Buy I purchased many products from Best Buy in the past Very satisfied

Matt Damon was fantastic in this movie! The whole movie was captivating, with a story that albeit far fetched as it was, the movie did the book Justice.

Seen it on the big screen some time ago, one that i wanted a copy which i rate on the level of gravity.

Was up for best comedy picture. there was some funny parts ,but for me it started me thinking about space travel and the dangers our astronauts face. The plans the U.S. Has to go to Mars will be a big step in space exploration and it will be dangerous and challenging and in like movies may not have all happy endings.

heard mixed reviews but wanted to see if for myself. Was expecting another castaway or gravity but to my surprise it was not. One of the better movies I've purchased lately.

Great 3D scifi movie. The story was good and the 3D was good as well. Pros: Good Scifi movie, came with 2D version as well. Cons: Had a slight hassel getting it to play in player.

The family and I really enjoyed the movie. There's an F-Bomb or two, but if I was stranded on Mars...I might...use that kind of language. The 3D version looks absolutely beautiful.

The Martian is a great movie even better in 4k . Must watch for everybody.

Nice stuff and we really enjoy the presentation...our family likes these kind of material...scientific, extraterrestrial and very well done about facts and some Hollywood cliche...

This movie is a must have, it has a great story, and the picture quality is spectacular. It is so entertaining that I had to watch it twice. I highly recommend this movie.

This is an excellent movie full of suspense and with a terrific science fiction plot. The blue ray is excellent in picture and sound quality, It is a must have for any collection.

If you've read the book please don't watch this. Or watch it with full understanding that movies are bs and they done messed up. The whole journey that he takes place in, is incredibly stressful and nerve wracking. The movie however, plays it off as if it's a normal stroll in the park. Disappointment beyond the moon.

Wow! Is all i can say!! One of my first 4K movies that i bought to go well with my TV and my Xbox One S! HDR looks Amazing! I enjoy this movie way more in 4K! You will too!

Such an intense movie about solving the most amazing problems that we'll face in the future. They say movies end up predicting the future... I hope not for are Mars dreams.

Matt Damon has a great performance. Movie is surprisingly very funny and the movie is great. I will watch this movie multiple times because it was well done and very entertaining.

Fantastic movie with a great plot. Matt Damon is a great character that brings humor to a rather dark situation. This movie is definitely worth watching at least one time!

This is an extremely well-done movie in all respects. Recommend seeing the movie, then read the book. The book is even better, has material in it that the movie had to leave oout.

A great story with an excellent mix of humour, drama, and science. And Sean Bean doesn't even die. I guess there's an extended edition now, so you might want to check that out.
