One of my favorites can watch multiple times the 4k quality and audio make it worth it.

Bought this 4k version for the atmos audio, for some reason the 1st release in 4k had no atmos. Waited for this version to go on sale . Really good movie just hate double dipping.

I have lost count how many times I have watched this movie. Then I found out there is an extended version with lots of extras. I have watched this one twice since I received it.

Wile the book is better... This film does a good job of capturing the essence of the book and is a memorable, feel good movie that makes you believe in a positive future of possibilities!

I have now seen this movie 3 times, and really enjoyed it. It also looks great in 3D. One of the extras has the actors in character looking back at what happened, 7 years after the events.

My son(10) and I love this movie and the fantastic story it tells. The beauty of Mars and space will test your system's limits and look so real you will want to venture there yourself.

Ultimately the Martian extended cut isn't that varyingly different or extended from the theatrical cut. BUT if you liked that film and are at all a home theater buff, this one is all the better as the UHD extended cut features a wonderful upgrade in the audio department with a Dolby Atmos mix. For those of us already equipped for such an experience, it's definitely a treat, right from the get go as the storm hits. It definitely is an atmospheric experience even for scenes simply in the interior of the Hab. While the film was shot mostly in 5K it was edited and mastered in a 2K environment. However, there are elements for this release that went back to higher resolution when possible - it's a confusing thing but you can ready about it from the filmmakers online. Ultimately it's a really good looking version - whether shots are uprezzed or not - that also takes HDR and uses it to it's best advantages for adding some pop and nuance without overdoing it.

This is one of the best sci-fi movies and is definitely one of my favorite. To see it in full 4K HD format is a treat!! I highly recommend buying this movie in this format.

It's by far a good space movie with dramatic and humor by the cast.

If sci fi is your thing, add this one to the collection. Great story, great acting’s great effects. A+ imo Discs came in great condition and digital copy activated at UHD. A+

I didn’t know what to think when I saw the previews for this movie. After watching it with a group of friends I really liked it and recommend that everyone should see it.

This is a great movie to purchase in Blu-ray due to the incredible scenery, the action, and the great story. I am so happy to add this to my collection to watch regularly.

Sony TV Brevia 900 is great. Bose sound bar and woofer is wonderful. Geeks put everything together including a new tv table- I loved my geeks. I would highly recommend Best Buy
