I'm a nerd who was oddly touched by how earnestly nerdy this movie is. Ingenuity and technical skillset get the stranded astronaut home.

Purchased when the DVD was on sale. After viewing the movie, I was blown away by the special effects. The colors are vibrant and the sound is crystal clear.

I absolutely loved this movie! I saw it in the theater and was eager to get it home as well. Still great, and lots of great features as well! One of my favorite movies of the year.

This movie is definitely different and very interesting. Seeing a man create water and just do the necessary things to survive was intriguing. And the quality was of course, great!

As good as the 1080p Blu-ray is for The Martian...this 4K version improves in every way. Stronger texture. Details galore. Just a cleaner tighter picture. Thank you!

What I liked so much about The Martian was that 95% events that happened had a basis in scientific fact. There was a logic as the story unfolded that made sense.

I couldn't say more about the actors or the producers and the directors in these movies I am very happy with the service that Best Buy has to offer as well as the customer service

An interesting Mars SIFI plot with a twist. Mat Damon is great as the marooned astronaut. The dramatic rescue at the end with the many problems to over come was great.

The US govt has spent an absorbent amount of money trying to save Matt Damon from Space Disasters. A total epic.

I saw this movie before it got nominated for all those awards. I'm a SciFi fan and a Matt Damon fan. I thought it was a good movie very intertwining and great special effects. If you saw "Mission to Mars" with Gary Senise or even "Space Cowboys" with Tommy Lee Jones, you should enjoy this Feature, " The Martian".

An uplifting movie about solitude, harsh conditions and the desire to live with all odds against you. Ingenuity and wittiness with lots of PG language. A must watch film!

Matt Damon gives his best performance in the Martian great sci_fi action. I just loved this movie adventurous and the plan to rescue Damon and bring him home was unique.

I loved the Martian. I can't stand Matt Damon but this is a really enjoyable movie. They put enough science into this to make it plausible enough to make the story hold up.

Was up for best comedy picture. there was some funny parts ,but for me it started me thinking about space travel and the dangers our astronauts face. The plans the U.S. Has to go to Mars will be a big step in space exploration and it will be dangerous and challenging and in like movies may not have all happy endings.

Amazing film in 4k! Totally recommend to those looking to see an upgrade in sharpness, color, and clarity.

Great 3D scifi movie. The story was good and the 3D was good as well. Pros: Good Scifi movie, came with 2D version as well. Cons: Had a slight hassel getting it to play in player.

The family and I really enjoyed the movie. There's an F-Bomb or two, but if I was stranded on Mars...I might...use that kind of language. The 3D version looks absolutely beautiful.

Nice stuff and we really enjoy the presentation...our family likes these kind of material...scientific, extraterrestrial and very well done about facts and some Hollywood cliche...
