This edition is out of this world. Forgive the bad pun, but it's really great and packed with lots of features. The best possible way to enjoy this movie.

Very good movie from start to finish. Matt Damon does an awesome job in this one. It will make you laugh and cry. One of the best movies I haves seen this year.

an accident occurs during an excursion on the surface of Mars and an astronaut is incorrectly assumed to be dead. The astronaut; played by Matt Damon awakes, alone and cut off from humanity but despite near impossible odds he uses his resourcefulness and intelligence to formulate a plan of survival.

I thouroughly enjoyed the theatrical cut. The extra scenes don't change the movie, but they add some extra insight into Watley's time on Mars.

The audio and visual of this movie was spot on. I enjoyed the acting and the breath taking. I would recommend this movie to show off your 4k HDR tv to friends.

I was so curious how the movie was developed. I thought Matt Damon was perfect in the role and very funny. It was almost like you were in his "head" during the movie.

The Martian may be the greatest "lost in space" movie of all-time! Definitely watch it if you've not done so. I think you'll really enjoy it.

The Martian is a GREAT movie, so wanted to see how it looked with the 4K Ultra TV...not much difference than the other blueray, but still a fabulous movie!!!!

This movie was excellent. It was gripping and I was on the edge of my seat most of the time. Very realistic for a space movie. The scenery and effects were stunning.

Excellent cast and screenplay! Mars never looked any better. And the Hermes: I'm ready to travel in space! And hexadecimal for communicating... Right on!

I really didn't read the reviews for this movie and was pleasantly surprised. It had an interesting story and kept you rooting for the main character. Worth watching.

We have watched this movie a few times before buying. I bought it for my hubby as an Easter gift. We will be watching it many times in the future, I am sure.

Great movie without being overly CGI. Many movies push the limits on science but this one is actually believable and amazingly scientifically accurate.

The Extended Cut is the way to go! (Still don't know why this was nominated for a Golden Globe in Comedy - though it is very funny at times.)

Excellent job in producing realistic current and future reality in the same film. Matt Damon played it perfectly, surrounded by a cast of true professionals.

Everyone told me to watch this movie and they were completely right! I definitely recommend it, to see how much one person can go through to survive is just amazing.

Great flick, I think the extra scenes help, but most people are ok with the theatrical release.
