I bought this movie to test out my 4K blue ray player. The clarity of the movie was exactly what I expected. The movie itself was very well made and the cgi made it realistic.

I am still trying to figure out why The Martian is considered a comedy. Don't get me wrong there are some parts of the movie which are funny, but to me it is more drama than comedy.
