Before I saw the movie I read the book. Loved it. I felt the movie carried the spirit of the book as well.

Inspiring nerdy story of survival. Comedy, tragedy, suspense, and nail biting all the way until the end.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book and loved the film adaptation. It was only right I had to buy the Steelbook!

This movie has perfect picture and sound on a top notch mastered Blu. Matt Damons performance in this movie was one of the best on film last year. would have been a 5/5 but WB is putting out a double dip later this year.

Have seen on HBO but wanted DVD it's really the kind of movie that opens the possibilities of space!

The Martian is excellent in so many ways. I would be surprised if you're not rooting for him the entire movie:)

I think this did a good job of showing the science behind a manned mission to Mars. It was pretty funny too.

Matt Damon was great in this movie. His portrayal of Mark Watney was very similar to what I imagined while reading the book. Do yourself a favor and read the book, more bad things, funny things and science things happen.
