Much better in 4K and the extended edition is well worth it. this is a great film to watch with a fantastic ending. Buy it!

Matt Damon is at his best in The Martian. The movie itself was a joy to watch, but if you have the option of watching it in 3D, I strongly encourage it. It's filmed in native 3D and it shows!

This film in 4K is stunning visually. Paired with the ambiance of the film it’s a 10/10 for me.

While this was a movie I was interested in seeing at the movie theater, I was not sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised how the movie flowed and enjoyed the music too. Great movie.

The extended edition adds some additional insight to the story. It's only about an extra 10 minutes but glad to have the complete version. The 4K picture quality is awesome.

never thought that a movie about survival on Mars could be made so real but the 3D made it feel like I was there. Really enjoyed the movie and the excitement on being on the edge of my seat.

I had the blu-Ray version and loved it. The 4K blew that version right out of the water. Super visuals and great sound. One of the best movies for showing off your A/V equipment.

You know, I always thought that Matt Damon was like a Streisand, but I think he's rockin' the s*** in this. The Martian is an excellent film.

Without reading the reviews, I saw that this was nominated as a comedy even though it wasn't a comedy. I am glad I spent the time to watch this film for myself. Truth is, it was just good Hollywood story telling. It was well acted and nothing was ridiculous or over the top. A film that would make an ideal date flick. I recommend it.

I loved this movie in the theater and on cable but when I saw all the bonus features provided I knew I had to get this as a gift for the whole family. what tremendous extras here. wow

Didn't expect much coming into the film, but it delivers. It's a feel-good film, great sci-fi, and a great Ridley Scott film overall. The only drawback is that on DVD it's not in a theater.

What else is there to say? Great film that looks fantastic in 4k UHD w/ HDR.

This was a great movie at a great price. Highly recommended for people who enjoy science fiction or adventure films. Blu Ray looks great and also enjoy having the digital copy for my phone.
