theres not a boring part in this movie you can understand that this could happen for real Matt Damon should win an academy award for his role

Really enjoyed this movie, much more than I thought I would. It's Matt Damon at his best. The plot grips you and holds on until the very end.

Amazing movie, and I liked the added content of extended version. Extras are awesome too!

Beautiful looking and mostly accurate rendering of Andy Wier's novel about an astronaut left for dead on the red planet. The Blue Ray version of the movie has excellent picture and audio, with good color rendition and no visible compression or encoding artifacts.

This film was done in 4K. Wow what a fantastic result. It looks like you are on Mars with him. Highly recommend you watch this in 4K!

This is one of the best sci-fi films in the past few years. An amazing story of hope and perseverance with some wonderful humor thrown in.

The first Martian Blu-ray was a quick cash-grab, but this one has a boatload of substantive features plus a slightly longer alternate cut.

Just two words... Matt Damon. Here's two more... Ridley Scott. This is a true winning combination of talents. This film is not to be missed.

I had high expectations for The Martian, and I can honestly say it didn't disappoint me one bit. I enjoyed watching all the special features.

This movie is great for anyone interested in space exploration. Also as a bonus the math they use in the movie is highly accurate.

Ridely scott really made a comeback after his last 4 horrible films and this movie is amazing incredible cast and matt damon at his finest.

Best film by Ridley Scott since Alien. I liked Prometheus but not as much as Alien. I think The Martian is my be favorite Ridley Scott film.

I really wish I hadn't read the book before hand. A lot of what I loved about the book was the humor, which really didn't translate as well on screen. Still a very admirable job by Matt Damen and crew, and with a bonus side of Sebastian Stan, not one to pass up.

From start to finish, I truly liked this film! From the acting to the cinematography to the story!

I'm a bit of a sci-fi nerd. This movie is well written and the special effects are first rate. Such a compelling story line. I loved it.

As always, Best Buy has a large variety of products, and shop there at least once a week. Very happy with our recent purchase.
