The Martian is an amazing film that is engaging from the start. Matt Damon gives a brave performance and the camera work is fabulous.

I really enjoyed this movie, the book was really good and more happened to him in the book but the movie was fairly true to the book.

Excellent performance by Matt Damon. To be stuck on Mars over a year all alone had to be harrowing. So glad they came back after him.

While a fictional movie, The Martian makes one think about the possibilities for life elsewhere. There were many humorous moments, many heart wrenching moments and certainly times which make one think about our future in space exploration. Good movie.

I first saw this film in the theaters In 3D .I knew that I was going to want to own it. So I got it from Best Buy.

The movie as well as the book are one of the best hard scifi stories in a long time. My only issue with this release is that it was not available in both Blu-ray and DVD in the same package; I usually like to have both formats when I purchase a movie.
