This movie feels a lot like Castaway only it's in outer space. Sometimes Matt Damon's attempt at humor felt a little out of place but hey it was a pretty good overall movie and I enjoyed it.

We were pleasantly surprised how good this film was and how well acted, especially by Matt Damon. Watch on a very large screen and in Blu Ray or 4K HD Blu Ray if you have a new 4K HD player.

This is a good movie and reminded me of Mission to Mars except for the ending of finding out where our species came from. If you like science fiction/drama, you'll certainly enjoy this one.
