it was one of matts better films. if you think you know how this one is going to end, you will be surprised. it had me on the edge of the seat for a while. started a bit slow, but very much worth the watch

Great movie and it was a great deal so i'm glad I received a movie at a great price. This was a special version of the movie so there are new things you didn't see in theaters.

I didn't get to see this movie in theatres but heard countless good things about so I went ahead and purchased it and was not dissappointed, it was an excellent movie and kept me interested the whole time.

This is a great family movie. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Matt Damon is awesome. The Golden Globes did not do this movie justice by calling it a comedy. This is a first rate movie to be watched again and again.

Ridley Scott brings the novel to life along with great acting. Especially from Matt Damon who earned an Oscar Nomination for his portrayal of an astronaut accidentally left on Mars.

Matt Damon gave another great performance in this inspirational movie about human endurance, strength, and willpower. It was actually quite funny which was a nice surprise. I would recommend it to anyone.

Matt Demon was his usual excellent self, convincingly portraying a resourceful astronaut who pulled off a gritty gutsy survival tour de force on the red planet; would have prefer that the movie version kept some more of the finer details from the on-line novel, but overall an enjoyable adaptation that is worth viewing on more than 1 occasion

I really loved this movie from beginning to end. It has just the right amount of suspense coupled with comedy. Matt Damon does an incredible job here. A must have especially if you can get it on sale.

The movie was awesome as expected from reading all the reviews. The story and visuals were wonderful(played on a Sammy Ks8500). Im tempted to pick up the 4k version to try on my Xbox one s with HDR.

First of all, the movie is good. If you haven't seen it, it is worth purchasing. One of the main reasons I purchased it was the Ultraviolet. This format is much easier to use than Apple or Windows Media.

Intense, sometimes comical, and ultimately inspiring movie detailing the struggles of one man's fight for survival. A movie the whole family will enjoy, but be careful of some language for the little ones!

I love every movie starring Matt Damon and this movie was no exception. Not only was it entertaining, but it also got you to think about how you would handle a situation liked that. I highly recommend it!

I laughed & I cried throughout the movie. I definitely recommend this to all who enjoy this genre of movie. Even if you're not interested in space exploration, I'm sure you'll find this entertaining. I wondered how it would play out (like in Gravity) & was really pleased that Matt Damon's character was shown to have a life after Mars. Very good viewing.

Fabulous acting, especially by Matt Damon. The book had more detail but the movie did a great job of scaling it down and picking the highlights. The science was interesting, and there is plenty of action.

The product is a fantastic buy. The blu ray copy comes with a digital copy which is wonderful to download. The movie itself is fantastic. It is a wonderful movie to watch for the whole family.

The wife didnt enjoy but I really did & my 21 year old nephew. I have watched it twice now and really like it, not sure how many more times I will watch it though. How many times have you seen castaway?
