I really didn't know what to expect, although I wondered how entertaining a movie would be about a person left alone on Mars, I gave it a shot and it was awesome!!

Taking a movie from a novel where there is only one character in many frames and they need to explain what is going on is really tough. As usual recording the video is the best way to overcome. The move is really good, but I hope those curse words can be avoided so that young science fans can watch it.

Great film, wish this was offer in the DVD and Bluray combo pack. This edition only has Bluray and Digital so you can download it to iTunes or activate the VUDU version.

This movie is great for all audience ages. My 9 year old has watched in three times. It is funny, sad, serious, and engaging. I recommend this for a family movie night.

this is a very entertaining movie, special effects r great and is hard to believe that matt Damon carried most of the movie by himself, buy this movie, u wont regret it.

Great movie! Whole family enjoyed watching it. No huge profanity laced sentences and no blood and guts in this one. Definitely would recommend for family viewing!

I gotta say, I loved this movie. It kinda reminded me of Apollo 13. Anyways the acting is good and the story is good. Well worth buying. The blu ray quality is amazing.

Very good choice for showing the capabilities of a 4K player and TV. The movie is entertaining, but the visuals are great. Highly recommend as a first 4K movie.

No other way to sum it up. The creative story hooks you from the start and keeps you guessing what next all the way to the end. Great Blu-ray picture and audio quality.

i bought this movie without having previously watched it - wow! so good that it could have actually been filmed in Mars - add to that a good story and you have a keeper

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and the extra digital copy is a nice touch. Great modern science fiction with a surprisingly good performance from the lead actor.

I like the two story lines. Although he was in isolation, and needed to stay focused to survive, he did not become bitter because friends did not really give up on him.

Great movie made even better by 4K. Definitely worth adding to your collection.

From the very beginning you are sucked in my the amazing sound and visuals. The 3D made them even better. It's a roller coaster ride from start to finish. Recommended.
