Those of you who own 4K UltraHD TV's and even those who own HDTV's, who have been waiting for Warner Bros to release The Matrix as a 9-disc trilogy with a DigitalMA code, wait no more. THIS is the BEST way to own The Matrix in 4K UltraHD+Blu-Ray. Think about it, this collection costs WAY LESS than buying them separately and you get to have a 4K HDR iTunes Digital Copy for each one. Yes, I know it says Movies Anywhere. But guess what? You STILL get an iTunes Digital Copy. All you have to do is connect your iTunes account with Movies Anywhere. Do you want to spend more than $70 buying them separately or do you want the better offer? The choice is clear.

The movie that started it all. The 4K is good but not great. The movies are 20 years old and it you haven’t seen them than this is a must have collection

I'm not a collector but I still wanted to have this series in physical format for full bitrate. One of the greatest movie series ever (I don't count the 4th movie). Everything here seems to be fine, no issues with the disks and Atmos is nice to have thou I don't know if it really added a ton for this movie over the original 5.1 mix (I do also have this on DVD from back in the day).

I loved the Matrix trilogy when the movies were all made and with the added upgrade the story seems still fresh. Was happy to upgrade.

Starts off very strong and unfortunately can’t maintain the momentum but overall very good despite mediocre sequels.

Good action movie and interesting story line. You need to watch it more than once to completely understand the movie.

Can definitely tell the 4k and hdr in lots of scenes but seems lacking in some others. But pretty solid overall!

These are amazing movies and the special effects are fun to watch as well. A good pickup for a movie fan.

What an experience and treat it is to watch these phenomenal films again in 4K with HDR! All three films are an absolute showpiece for anyone looking to show off their 4K set or just want to be blown away by exceptional quality. I'm in the majority in that the first film is far and away the best, but the subsequent films are still highly entertaining and enjoyable all the same. Highly recommended!

I have not seen "The Matrix" in over 15 years, so decided to purchase the 4K edition trilogy. So far, I watched the first movie, and was VERY IMPRESSED by the quality of the transfer to 4K! Honestly, was not sure what to expect, but they really did a great job! Can't wait to see the remaining 2 in the trilogy!

I would only recommend the Matrix Trilogy as a set for hardcore fans of the Matrix such as myself

As a fan of the Matrix trilogy, at first I was leary of this purchase, I'd read reviews that talked of changes in color...but when I saw the opportunity to get this at a low price, I took a chance and I'm glad I did the picture is amazing,and the sound...wow. If you're a fan of The Matrix defiantly upgrade...

This Matrix trilogy is a remarkable 4k upgrade. The difference is astounding. The picture and especially the sound, whoa!. While I favor the first two films I've come to accept the third as a necessary end piece. This is only because I've come I understand the world of the Matrix a little better, sort of anyway. You've got to have it in there just to complete it. Back to the transfer. It is up there in reference quality. It's the way 4k transfers should be done.

I bought a bunch of 4K DVDs when I got a 4K system. Black Friday '21 had lots of 4K DVDs on sale. Was very worth it. Not lots of 4K content out there...so the 4K DVDs are a great way to test / appreciate the 4K system. And here's the thing....I just got a new 4K system. The Matrix is one of the best movies to test a 4K system out!!!

I think these movies are a classic. fun to own the whole set and lends itself well to 4k

I now see the reality that surrounds us, and it looks amazing! Color saturation and HDR black level are at near reference level. I would state 8 of 10. Audio get's an 8.5 of 10 with the addition of the high definition audio track and the inclusion of Dolby Atmos This is a worthy upgrade over and above that of my Ultimate Matrix Blu-ray Collection

All three films look better than I have ever seen them. The new color grade breathes a new life into what im past releases has been lackluster and overdone in places. The features are neverending and I feel like I know everything there is to know about the productions of all three. This is the definitive collection and WB knocked it out of the park.

The Matrix trilogy will always hold a special place in my heart. The first matrix movie at the time was revolutionary and still holds up well to this day. The 2nd and 3rd and good trilogy fillers, but do not stand up to the quality of the first movie. Getting to the 4K trilogy set, it's very recommended. Each film is not a 2K upscale. Each film has been re scanned at at least a 4K DI so you see the quality difference.

I watched this movie in theaters in 1998! As a teen! I bought it on Blu-Ray as an adult in 2018! I just upgraded to 4K about 2weeks ago! If you are a fan! Or just want to start getting into what the MATRIX is or CAN be…… 4K is your only way to view it!!! GET READY and don’t sleep on the Director Commentary

The uptick in both visual and audio quality on these 4K transfers are amazing. Definitely demo-worthy/reference material with these movies. You do still get a smidge of grain, but that's because it was filmed on 35mm which is normal. But wow, if you've got a good 4K TV and a potent Home Theater system, you will be blown away.
