This was way out there I don't believe it even make money to cover it budget

nothing special , maybe 1 or 2 good scenes otherwise just a b movie at best

Okay not scary enough and story could have been written more back story

Just another JAWS type movie with a twist and a bigger fish.

I wasn't expecting much, yet this movie failed to meet even those low expectations. Terrible sound, terrible acting, terrible script, terrible special effects. The 3D was decent.

The copy that I received was not 4K. It was a very poor standard definition version. I could not even sit through first 5 minutes it was so visually inadequate.

Prehistoric magladon shark eats its way around the Chinese coast. Jason Staten finally kills it in the end, but its a silly story and not worth you're time.

I was interested in this movie dating back to the days when Eli Roth was attached, but what I got was a bloated mess of a movie.

The movie was a Mega Failure. I can't believe I paid full price...Don't waste your money...

With the actors in it, thought it would be a lot better.

I have loved shark movies ever since Jaws. Deep Blue Sea, The Reef and Bait have been the best. The Meg is the best shark movie since Jaws. It's the perfect summer, when ever you want a thrill and not have to think too much movie. The special effects are awesome, even more so in 4K. The Meg makes the shark from Jaws look like Charlie the Tuna. He is huge. The cast is likable. This is the first movie I have seen with Jason Statham. He is very likable. He has an awesome body and he did most of his own stunts. Jaws is still THE shark movie of all time, but the Meg gives it a run for its money. I have heard there will be a Meg 2. Hoping Statham will be in it and that is will be worthy of being the Megs sequel.

ok, so not an award winner but my little boy loves sharks and dinosaurs so a Megalodon was a must see for my family. Predictable and full of people you wish would get eaten - some do and some don't - but I got it on sale and it was worth it for an evening's entertainment. I probably wouldn't watch it again but I'm sure my son will pull it out some night and I'll sit through it as long as there's popcorn.

What fun!!! Odd thing to say about a creature feature, but it is fun for everyone because you know this giant doesn't exist -- although it could! Jason Statham (the master modern action hero) dives into this rescue mission with the right amount of fear and determination. While I could have done without the love connection, all of the characters are well formed and serve their purpose. I highly recommend this one!

The storyline on the mega is not bad. It brings a whole new concept to the ideas of deep sea. What if there is a protective barrier separating different ocean levels and that barrier is so cold that what's underneath can escape to go up to the surface world.

Great CGI and Great cast! The storyline is decent with decent acting. Would recommend.

This is a good copy of a fun movie. Definitely not like the book but still fun to watch!
