    Corporate Greed

The movie "The Meg" is an awesome movie, well worth the purchase, BUT, when you order a movie with a digital copy for traveling you expect to get a code that has not expired. I ordered this from Best Buy because I assumed that the movie would be recent and have a digital code that was active. I was wrong, I tried 4 different cloud based servers and they all told me that the code was expired. I contacted Warner Brothers and they said sorry, there was nothing they could do about the expired code. WHAT? You are a multi million dollar corporation and there is nothing you can do for your faithful customers? It's not like I bought a used movie from a 3rd party this was a sealed 4K disk advertised with digital copy. My thoughts, either WB should make good on the code, it doesn't cost them anything extra, or we customers should stop buying WB movies.

Take a Bite Out of This

Seeing 'Meg' was an achievement for me as I haven't seen a shark movie fro start to finish since Jaws traumatized me as a child. (Strangely, I still enjoy watching 'Shark Week' on Animal Planet.) I swear my heart was pounding all morning with nerves at just the thought that I was going to see it. It turned out to be a very fun movie, thankfully. It probably helped that it felt more like a action/comedy, though I still did find myself jumping in my seat and barely containing expletives at points. While, I like to think I have gotten more brave in my old age, this movie just wasn't very scary. At all. (Which was good for me.) Everything that made me jump was really just the suddeness of the megalodon appearing. You know it's coming, but you just don't know exactly when. There is also very little blood, which again is good for me. There were a few laughs in here too. I felt like at some moments 'Meg' was a borderline parody movie of other shark films. Still, not much of the dialogue is quote worthy. Overall, this movie was a good time for what it was. Not something I am going to revisit a lot, yet definitley something I may watch at least once every summer.

It's a Jason Statham; Does anything else need to be said. Good action, as always, great FX. It won't win any academy awards, but the movie is an all around good time.

I thought this was awesome shark movie. This movie had my attention from the beginning. The 4k transfer for this movie is amazing. The picture quality and sound quality is just awesome.

Really disappointed. The story line and acting are horrible. The cgi is blurry. Save your money and buy " The Shallows "
