Its funny in some parts, scary in others. Fun to watch, but not good for small kids.

If you are a huge fan of Jaws and compare the two you will not enjoy this movie. MEG is a mindless popcorn flick. It is fun, fast paced and I enjoyed it for that reason. It doesnt take itself serious, but definitely 100% more than the sharknado series. The special effects were good. The audio and video quality in 4k are good.

I has to say it is really entertaining, and Jason Bateman is great in it!

More hype than anything, this movies best scenes were in the trailer of the movie.

So I have to give this movie some accolades. It’s much more entertaining than any shark or fish movie recently created including the extremely lame “Deep blue Sea.” This movie actually has a shark whose nature is to consume and go after prey! It’s pretty enjoying if you’re not expecting academy award winning plot or acting!

WB has put together an awesome package right here; SteelBook with 4K, Blu-ray, and a digital copy for streaming on-the-go. This 4K + Blu-ray release also has superb audio quality encoded in Dolby ATMOS, along with awesome video quality and some special features. Not much more you could ask for. Worth checking out, especially if you have a 4K TV with at least a 5.1 surround sound system.

Good flick just for entertainment. Nothing outlandish about this film.

Nicely done. Solid action that actually manages to build a strong emotional touch into it. The special effects are excellent and color, music and sound blend beautifully to give this action adventure a real sense of drama and excitement. A fun movie that manages to make the unbelievable quite believable. I recommend.

This movie had good special effects. If your a fan of Statham it’s a must see

If your looking for a fun, action packed fish tale, then look no further. This is a big budget, special effects take on its literary counterpart. The plot is not complicated, nor is it supposed to be. It's summer fun at it's best. The video and audio are excellent. The only disappointment is the aenemic supplements.

Movie not what I expected. It's another Jaws movie without the Jaws.

Exciting movie with Jason Statham starring. Excellent digital graphics for the mega large shark. There are a few "wow" moments with surprises. The action is really great! Disney should watch this movie and make a special themed part of their locations, like they did with King Kong and Earthquakes. This would shock and wow the customers for sure. You just got to buy this movie!

Movie definitely has some good suspense and some great scenes but unfortunately is not in the same class as say “Jaws”. The cinematography is very well done and has some very good actors in the cast but story and plot was pretty average. Steel book was decent.

Not the best movie but the CG and the effects are off the charts.

They barely show the Shark. The movie quality of it being 4k is great.

No real suprises. Just another popcorn movie that is the same as the rest.
