I bought this for my husband. As he is a huge jaws fan. I was not interested in seeing it, but I reluctantly watched it with him. This was a good movie, great special affects, story line & acting. Watched movie twice already.

A solid 3D release but a little on the dark side compared to the regular Blu Ray. Also, the 3D disc only has DTS HD 5.1, not Atmos like the regular Blu Ray. Come on WB!

Movie is fun when you know not to expect a smart script, but cheesy shark flick. Steelbook is well packaged with some cool artwork inside and out. Worth scooping at the right price if it goes down, but at $35 maybe not.

It’s not Jaws, but the story and acting are good enough. The real reason to own this one is the quality of the 4k picture and the sound. Aside from that, my less discerning teens have enjoyed this movie multiple times.

Love Statham, great supporting cast, HUGE prehistoric shark, decent storyline. Some good plot changes/devices. But ultimately a fun, exciting romp that keeps at least some suspense in play.

So glad to see this movie get a nice steelbook release! It's no Citizen Kane, but if you are looking for a movie about a giant shark eating people, then this is the movie for you! Special Effects are great and the acting is well done for the type of movie that it is!

Bad cinema at it's best! Good CG work in depicting the Meg. Great color on the Chinese beach. Story is unbelievably cheesy and anybody can anticipate what is coming next, but it is a fun escape from the busy world.

I'm always a little hesitant when it comes to shark movies, but I must say this movie was very good! Entertaining the whole way through. Jason Statham is awesome again in this film. Great addition to my collection.

Anything sharks is perfect for son! Love this because it does make you wonder if there are more pre-historic creatures still on earth that we haven't encountered before. I don't really want to go in the ocean now though!

The title says it all. You know what your getting in the title. While the movie suffers a bit without an R rating. There's still plenty of fun to have. Jason Statham vs a Giant shark!

The movie is good, not great. I would rate it a B. Good acting. It is more of an action movie to me with not a lot of suspense. Filming quality is good. There is a lot more suspense in the Jurassic Park movies.

Wasn’t expecting much even though I like Jason Latham. I thought this was going to be a modern day (poor mans) attempt at Jaws. Not at all. Visually and sonically amazing. Definitely had to rewind a couple of great scenes.

My point of view is it's like an updated version of JAWS, with prehistoric sharks instead. Good storyline. Did great at the theatre. I heard they are making another one. Looks great and sounds great with 4K.

Fun movie, like "Jaws" on a LOT of steroids, though many parts a bit predictable. Statham is in his element with a very physical role. Li Bingbing is a very talented timeless beauty. Definitely recommended!

Action, adventure, and drama all wrapped into one film with a horrific gigantic prehistoric shark. The water is one place you will definitely not want to be. Don’t miss this must see film that will have you at the edge of your seat more times than not.

Got this movie on sale. Should have left it in the bargain bin. It's cheesy but not in a sharknado kind of way. Sometimes you'll find gems in the bargain bin, and sometimes you get trash like this.

.......and for two hours pretend you have no concept of reality and just enjoy a silly movie. There were some funny parts and it was just a fun movie to not take serious.

I had mixed feelings going into this movie not knowing for sure if it was going to be the typical garbage, but I was pleasantly surprised. I thought the storyline was good and the special effects were awesome! I am looking forward to the sequel.

Honestly, I thought this movie would be trash! Turned out to be a lot better than I expected. Was definitely JAWS 2018. That being said, the storyline was very interesting. Definitely worth a watch.
