this did remind me a bit on "Jaws" and enough opening was left for more Meg movies.. I thought it was entertaining and had plenty of sub plots to boot...great special effects on the Shark and a good acting effort by all I give it two Thumbs up!!

If dear Roger Ebert were alive, he surely would have called this the Citizen Kane of shark attack movies. It has all the great action, comedy, and drama you could hope for. I wish there were more stars for me to use when recommending this movie.

I've been waiting for this movie since I first read the book 20 years ago! Although not very faithful to the source material it was still a pretty good movie and I hope there is a sequel very soon!

This is a fun romp, not too serious but just enough to elevate it above popcorn status. There are some recycled and predictable bits but it kept my family entertained . . . and that's the point!

This movie has everything, action, suspense, humor and a possible love connection. Loved this movie from beginning to end. It's an all around great movie as I wanted to be entertained for 2 hours the old fashion way and this movie delivered.

I thought this movie was good when you consider it for pure entertainment value. The story was decent and the Picture Quality and Audio Quality were good on this 4k purchase.

the movie was fun to watch. Lots of great one liners and references to Jaws and Finding Nemo and other "fish" related movies. I guess you would call it "homage". Old school methods still work.

Silly, fun, 3D action movie. This movie is grade A leave your brain at the door and just enjoy the silliness of seeing giant CGI sharks do what they do best.

This movie is so completely unbelievable, so just go into it knowing that. If you do, then you’ll have fun watching this movie. I did when I saw it at the movie theater & I do whenever I watch the blu-ray & I still find it fun to watch.

I wasn't expecting the movie to be very good. I wouldn't have bought it but several of my friends said that they had seen it and that it was worth the money. I'm glad they talked me into it.

This is an excellent summer movie that is in turns fun and frightening but never boring. The effects are very well done, the production is first rate and the cast is very good. This is an excellent popcorn adventure movie for everyone.

Great film! I know it's a giant dinosaur. The little girl is really good with everything she does, even when the Meg takes a bite out of the dome!

I’m glad this movie was available in 3D blue ray, Blue Ray and Didital at Bestbuy, we still have good 3 D TVs which we enjoy, they have taken 3D products out for some reason, I’m glad I didn’t have to order from other sites or sellers

I really enjoyed seeing a new take on a killer shark movie. I haven't popped in the 3d disc yet but the movie plot was great and met my expectations of what the movie was trying to bring.

Saw this movie in the theater and bought it the day it came out. Great action movie from start to finish. Action, humor, thrills and one heck of a big shark, what more can you ask for?

...but this one was pretty good. Good blend of story and action through out movie. Was skeptical enough not to see in theater, but after watching on blu-ray wished I did see it on IMAX!

It's a tradition to give my daughter whatever shark movie is available at the holidays as a gift. We already seen this movie in the theater, but now we own it and can watch it at home.

good movie and good 3d. Its not like its supposed to be something that could really happen and isn't something with award winning acting but worth watching.

First off, I'm a huge Jason Statham fan! So the thought of Statham going up against a megalodon...I'm sold! There's humor, suspense, great chemistry among the cast, and the Meg itself is another reason why I don't like the ocean.
